View Full Version : Women Vs Men

Let's be adult, at least try to be.. hehe

Feminisme were requesting what men had for granted for centuries

Now women almost got all what we have, salary, good job, leadership, power, et cetera

Women are smarter, endure more pain and can have children.

Is being a male in the 21th century is just.. a pain in the butt? are women trying just too much? (be a macho, HIRSH, be a pink man, how sweet!)

Quick question, Xcalibur...what's with your male-female fascination as of late? I don't know, it seems like you've been obsessing this issue.

I'm a male engaged with a female and everywhere around me there's either male or female people

Seriously, here, we have one of the highest rate of suicide per 1000 people. Some people, including me, think it's because of feminisme.

And there's about 400 others question, i'm just curious too!

How can feminism possibly be a big cause of suicide??

In short, feminisme would had removed the "male identity" of men and throw them the "right way" of being a male by feminine standart.

So now a man that doesn't cry isn't normal, et cetera

I think that's a bit extreme. I mean, not all "feminists" are out to keep men down and demoralize them, either.

But, I can't say too much because I don't know what it's like where you live. Also, I'm not a rip-roaring feminist, either. But I still think you're going a tad overboard.

Snapp

I don't think any man kills himself because some men cry.. that doesn't make any sense (like most of your post). Feminism is mostly to get women equal rights, not kill men.. or make them cry.. ??

10-06-2003, 05:10 PM
Yes, yes, let us be adult about this. Women don’t really want what men have... they only want the good jobs that men do or have, they don’t want to do the dirty work... and the ones that do are often can you say more masculine….(hint, hint) when it comes down to it none of you want to be garbage men, construction workers (and yes there are women construction workers but come on how often are they the one holding the slow down sign I have never seen one with a jackhammer unless she was one that look like a man) women can not take the stress levels that men can cope with, and contrary to what people wish women are not leaders… The reason there are not a very large number of Female CEO’s in the world is not because we men cant stand women being in charge of us it is because that a lot of women don’t have the skills and or determination to get ahead (or the lack of morality) in conclusion men are better

exemples of what feminisme "brought" (thanks to harmnone for that wonderful word i now use)

I'll give exemple i'm sure each of you noticed

A family is walking in a male, 2 adults in their 30's and a little brat about 7-8 years old.

The little brad want a toy, momy says no, little brat go psycho and YELL AND WHINE AND act as if he would be boiled alive

Father just want to slap his butt and tell him to shut up and behave.

30 years ago, that would happen
Now no, you can be sued, so let's encourage that

an other

A little nerdz is being laughed at, and one day a somewhat big kid come and harass him.

Little nerdz tell his dady, dady would want his nerdz to fight back

BUT MOMY thinks it's bad

so next day, she bring nerdz to school and go talk to the director.

Next day little nerdz is being laughed at and it continues (and little nerdz will remain like that all his life)

there's so many exemple

I think there is a wide variety of people in the world today. Men were built the way they were for a reason, as women were built the way they were for a reason. Both have their up's and downs but I think that neither can put words in the mouths of the other sex telling them how they feel or what they can do. I know men that cry, I know men that show no mercy, I've seen girl's kick guy's asses, I've seen girl's cry over broken nails. Like I said, everyone's an individual, it's your choice to decide what your going to do with what you have (physically). Mind over body.

I think that the men don't want the dirty jobs either. My daughter took a women's studies course last year in High School (I don't know why they even offer such a course to High School age children) In the course though they discussed the communication differences between men and women. I have to admit that part of the reason we women don't have the top jobs is that we tend not to be direct enough about what we want. Men have a much easier time saying "Go. Do." Women, on the other hand, are more likely to say "Wouldn't it be better if that got done?" Which drives me nuts at work where everyone in the room is female, and although I'm female I tend more toward directness, and don't get hints as well as hammers. No one will say directly what should be done next, and you have to guess ::sigh::

Women have come a long way, and I don't think we need the same kind of militant feminism we did in the 60's, but that doesn't mean that we're there yet either

I'll put myself up for stoning here. Please bear with me, and don't kill me until you finish reading.

I would have absolutely no problem with feminism, if they would be willing to give our society a complete overhaul. I'm not just talking open up Augusta to women (which I could probably write a thesis on). Title IX? WNBA? Like any women's sport pays for itself. I'm not trying to be mean, but that's the reality. The only reason the WNBA exists is because of David Stern, and the second he decides to cut them off the league goes defunct. Women's soccer? Probably the most popular women's sport, but wasn't financially feasible.

When women's rights are 'at stake', feminazis line up to take up a righteous cause. But what about situations like with Anna Kournikova? You look the other way; it's not a woman taking advantage of her sex appeal (and there's nothing wrong with that), it's a woman who is succeeding in a male dominated sports world. How many finals has she reached? Oh, yeah. Right.

Problem in the workplace? I won't pretend to know anything about sexual harassment suits or anything. But one issue I have is with maternity leave. It's completely understandable to want to start a family, but the second you decide to sacrifice time for work to start one, you shouldn't be given advantages over other women or men because you don't have time for work. You made a choice based on what you wanted, and you shouldn't expect to have an equal shot at a promotion as someone who's putting in a 40 hour week and you're doing half that because you wanted a baby.

There's so much more I can say on this, but my mind is completely fried from classes.

Feminists suck. If they actually cared about their cause, they'd call themselves 'Gender equalists'.

10-06-2003, 06:59 PM
here I am reading though the same thing for women and lets give you a example of what i found.......

We never have to buy our own drinks at the bar ...Equal huh

We get out of speeding tickets by crying...yes its true and you all know it

We get out of speeding tickets by showing a little cleavage or leg..same as above

We can marry rich and then not have to work.. you know you look for it and you know its important when picking a guy you never ask you friends... does he love cats? no its what kind of work does he do?

We always end up sleeping in the bed when we fight with our other
halves - you guys get the couch... hey shouldent it all be fair and every time you get in a fight it goes 50\50? i slept on the couch last time honey your turn tonight....

We don't have to mow the lawn
We don't have to take out the garbage
We don't have to paint the house or walls
three in a row that prove my point on a few posts back

I could keep going too but i think i got my point across......And yes it is humor, but humor is very often based in reality.

Men are superior. Anything a woman can do, a man can do better.

Now... thats not to say that one could exist without the other, or, that either are more important than the other. Its a simple statement of a natural fact. Men are stronger/faster/smarter than women. Ok ok, at least the first two.

Hmm.. I agree that both men and women have their ups and downs. I am proud to be a woman but at the same time I have very few true friends that are female because they tend to annoy me where I find guys a bit easier to take.

I think women are strong in same ways more than men and men are in other ways more than women but I also think it goes person by person and is based more on personality.

I have one repsonse to this one. Bull fucking shit. People like Edine are the kinds that buy into all the stereotypes of both men and women.

You can't say all women can't handle the stress of this or that, it's complete BS. Some women handle it beautifully and confidently. Other women fold. And it's the exact same thing as men. It's all just how your personality is.

Plus, for as many women that there are that don't want to work, there are just as many men. So before you even try this, grow up, break away from your stereotypes, and open your eyes a little more.

Actually not in todays society. Sorry, we don't live in the stone age anymore. In most families both men and women work to provide for their family. Both my mother and my father work and they both equally provide for us. In fact, in some families, the wife works while the husband stays home and takes care of the house and children. The fact is, most families are now sharing the jobs of bringing home money, raising the kids, and taking care of the house.

It's not only men that work so stop acting as if this is the 1950's. Check your calendar.

I totally agree with Edaarin on maternity leave. You want to have babies and be paid a high percentage of your salary to be at home with the little bundle of joy, awesome. The lady across the room chooses to put her career first. She gains work experience and knowledge while the other one is changing diapers and the two should be considered equals when applying for a promotion? I think not.

I praise mothers and I think mothers should be given a salary for taking care of their children because it must be the hardest job on the planet. But in the professional workplace, taking care of your kids does not make you better at your job and that should definitely be taken in consideration when applying for a position.

Savanae

My personal opinion, who ever can do the job, should get the job. It doesn’t matter what gender they are. I don’t have problems until the person doing the job can’t actually do it.

For example, A friend of mine was in the army. He was a tank mechanic and there were a few women in his unit. For the most part this was fine it was only one woman that he ever had a problem with. She was a small girl and while she was able to do some of the work she was just physically incapable of doing a good portion of it. Now to me that just isn’t right. The job requires certain tasks, and everyone should be able to do them.

Same thing goes for men, if your incapable of doing the whole job to the best of your ability then you should not be there. Period.

Jut my opinion on the matter. I don’t think one side is better than the other all I care about is performance and competence.

My whole point was... that in nature, men are faster and stronger. Thats not to say there isn't a woman out there who couldn't kick a man's ass down the street...

And women in the workplace? Forget it. They can be the most severly cruel people you would ever meet. Oh yeah, they cry (tears) a lot more often than men.

I would never under-estimate the power of a woman though. And you women know what I mean.

It's not personal, we're wired different. I've "used, then discarded" women who knew what the deal was and everyone felt peachy and was happy with the experience. I think 90% of the time when women are upset at things like this, it's because they had unrealistic expectations built up in their heads about what should have happened after if they had control of the situation.

Women expect what they expect based on how they think things should go. They're right! It should go that way, and everyone would be happier if it did but they're also wrong because they assume the rest of the world thinks emotionally. It would if everyone was destined to be happy.
It doesn't, and we aren't. Men are generally logical and we don't change. If it doesn't make sense, we're not going to buy it. Most of the time we're very easy to please but get us worked up emotionally and everyone is in trouble.
One of the more instructional quotes I've heard:
"Guys marry expecting their wife to never change, women marry expecting to change their husband. Both are wrong."
