Belly and Requiem To a Dream are both dope movies, try The Salton Sea too, and What about Bob? Was worth watching also.

since i'm planning on going to school for writing, i like to think i know a good movie.

sure, i also consider my opinion superior to that of others.

But i've got to say, i'm glad a movie like Requiem for a Dream was released. Practically, anyone can relate to this movie. Anyone can understand it. Aronofsky was dead on when he took on this film, and he executed it perfectly.

Its one of the few films that's ever driven me to tears. Its just so...spectacularly sad, soul crushing, etc. Its a brutal movie.

After you watch it, you want to give your mom a big ol' hug. =/
