For Sale: An Oversized Frost-Covered Axe Harness

This item is waist worn (not belt slot) weighs 4lbs. and CAN ONLY BE USED WHEN 20 Ranks of hurling have been reached.

The unlimited Handaxes are 4x's Ice-flaring and can be swung or hurled whichever is preferred.

The Handaxes can be further enchanted or worked with through merchant means and the harness too can be altered by merchant.

the handaxes dissolve if dropped or if tried to be picked up.

I would keep this nice addition to my weapon collection but the skill training for hurling is not a priority of mine right now.

heh, oh yea, that was yers then. Coulda swore that was Washee's. Now I remember. In that case yea, its about the same price.

But a few have sold for 20-30 mil. I think 40 mil is way to high for something that you can just buy 5 handaxes and get em e-bladed by a higher leveled wizard. It's nice for easy access and never losing yer weapon, but $480 bucks is a bit hard to swallow.

The problem is thrown weapon skill sucks. Sure it's a really cool item... if thrown didn't stink so bad.

Thrown got upgraded a few months ago to make the skill viable as a primary way of combat however. Once things like nets and bolas are looked at more and some of the DFs of thrown weapons, the skill will be up there with archery.

My 36 lvl warrior can hit a 60+ self spelled fully defensive sorcerer with his thrown weapon. I wouldn't say they suck too bad.

I wouldn't sell my bandolier for 100+M, it's actually a ton of fun.

Yea, when Tayvin and his group come through on the glacier and leave alot of baltas laying around, be sure the crones didn't arm them self with em. Nearly died once...

Crones must be the only ones that pick them up, because the titans and giants don't. Don't the giants/titans swing harder than a crone would with a 4x weapon anyway?

Yea, If I hunt the crone side, they are the only ones that will pick up my handaxes or javelins. Titans won't even pick up my handaxes even though the use 0x ones.

Sometimes, an ice troll will drop thier ice spear for my javelin or handaxes, but its very rare.
