Anti-Rape Condom Unveiled.

The prototype of a new female condom is intended to identify rapists. The anti-rape device, called the "Rapex," hooks onto an attacker's penis, and can only be surgically removed.

I'm pondering how this would work. Would a girl randomly wear it, in anticipation of getting raped? 'Oh, I think today is a marvelous day, my odds of getting raped are extraordinarily high, I'd better attach my Rapex!'.

I read about this previously. It was originated in Africa because of the high rate of rapes that occur there.

It's inserted into the woman. Apparently inside of the condom are barded wires and sharp hooks that attach to the penis, which is why it can only be removed surgically.

It's too drastic of a measure to take, IMO. I can imagine too many women who would be vindictive bitches and use this with guys they just don't like and coax them into having sex with them with it. It's just sick. There has to be a better method than this, because this is brutal.

I dunno CT. I think rapists and child molesters deserve fates worse than death. This one fits the bill.

I just personally think there is too much personal risk involved at that close a range.

I have to agree with CT. It's not that rapists don't deserve it, it's that there are too many dumb girls that would use it for revenge or just to be bitches to guys who don't deserve it.


As for child molesters... I wouldn't make my daughter wear something like that. You shouldn't live day to day in fear like that. I agree with the person that said if there is that high of a risk, you need to move.
