looting skayls?

Is there anyway to loot these things without burning my hand off/dying?

only if someone can uncurse you before the bloody thing melts your hand off. clerics usually have the best luck... loot, 315, then put in disk until it cools.

When Caralain, Ardwen, Rhys, Falgrin, Pharg and I hunted the isle Caralain would uncurse em after I searched and I'd dump em in a disk (think they are heavy and hot for awhile).

Don't recall what they were worth though.

As a human with no trading I got a little over 1k each for em on Teras.

I only hunted em once, but if you uncurse and drop em, I think minor water will cool them quicker.

Thanks for all the quick replys! I got one the hard way and it sold for 4k at the gemshop, so I'd like to keep getting them. Plus, they look neat. If I can get one more for an alter, I'd be happy. What about pouring a pure potion on it and dropping it? Think that would work?

Never heard of using pure potions. Personally, the disk idea is much, much better due to their weight.
