All students complete a traditional seventh and eighth grade curriculum. We have worked over the years to have that curriculum closely tied to state standards. We use the Excellerated Math program to supplement the curriculum. This works equally as good with struggling students as with excellerated students. Using test scores and teacher recommendations students who excell in 7th grade math are allowed to take Algebra 1A as 8th graders. This opens the door for them to take more advanced math classes in their junior and senior year.
