There's a ton of solid new shows this year i've noticed a bunch of alien invasion type ones popping up to.

Invasion i think its on abc the pilot was on last night was very good the casting seems right on.

Supernatural is a new wb show about 'ghost hunters' but they hunt all types of bump in the night things, and they draw on real legends so it's pretty interesting, only problem i have is jason eckles is in it and he was on smallville so i have a hard time taking him serious ..

Rome HBO show, Sex, Violence, Betrayal, Politicis. What more can you ask for?

Threshold i think is another alien invasion show, i have it Tivo'd but havent watched it yet.

Prison break ive got them all tivo'd but only watched first 2 episodes, dont know if i like it yet though.

I saw Invasion and I thought it was really good. At first I had a feeling it was going to be stupid but I think they did a great job of unfolding the plot. Also the premiere of Lost was excellent

I like Rome.

You guys ever watch Nip/Tuck? Season 3 premiered last tuesday and it was awesome.

Lots of sex and gore.

I heard Invasion was pretty decent. I missed it last night.

Other new shows:

Kitchen Confidential has the potential to be pretty hilarious. Some of the main stars include:
Nicolas Brendon (Xander from Buffy the Vampire Slayer)
Bradley Cooper (Will Tippin from Alias)

Also on at the same time was "How I met your mother". It's got my girl Alyson Hannigan, as well as Doogie Howser - not sure how it did, ratings-wise.

Amazing Race Family Edition - meh. I usually like watching Amazing race because the couples blame each other and it's good to see a couple piss another couple off. But with families? Not sure if I want to see kids get all pissy.

Bones - It's got David Boreanaz (from Angel) and some girl I haven't heard of. If it's on and nothing else is, I might watch it.

My name is Earl - Damn I keep hearing good things about this show. Jason Lee (basically every Kevin Smith movie made) is pretty funny too.

BTW the new season of CSI is tonight at 9. And the first episode of law and order SVU was pretty good last Tuesday.

Damn, maybe I should have hung in there and watched the rest of Invasion. I flipped the channel after the first 20 minutes as it just wasn't holding my attention.

I watch Rome religiously.

Watched House last night for the first time... I liked the witty/dry humor and the fact that it encouraged one to think.

Rome of course is good.

My DVr is set to record Las Vegas, Desperate Housewives and a few others I cant remember for family entertainment.

Angel was the only redeaming quality to this show. the rest of them were terribly miscast, and the dialogue was a joke.

Every time a pop culture reference was made "bones" doesn't understand it. We get it, you live your life in a fucking lab, quit beating us over the head with it.

I give this show, the finger

There was a pretty good show on Profiling on last night, but I don't remember the name of it. I didn't really get to concentrate on it, but what I saw was interesting. Of course, profiling is one of my pet interests.

I like Carnivale on HBO, but it's new season isn't out yet.

Curb Your Enthusiam is great. I usually watch it over On Demand. (can get a whole season at once)

Weeds is good.

There are more... can't think right now.

I like Joan of Arcadia though I'm not sure if its still on...

I haven't watched many of the new shows, though I do like Rome and Dead Like me...

Gotta give it up for Family Guy! I love that show and Futurama, South Park, Monk, Tribe... and an oldy but goody the Simpsons.

Tried watching Ghost Whisperer just now, with Jennifer Love Hewitt. It sucked so bad. Its like a very cheap, poorly done copy of Medium or something. Oh well.

I did like Invasion, though the other night.

I'm not really a tv guy. I can't stand sitcoms or dramas or any of that shit with few exceptions. I caught half of the second episode of Rome a few weeks back and enjoyed it. I've seen up to episode 4 (is that the newest one?) and haven't been disappointed yet. Other than that, nothing else on tv (except Bengal football) really grabs me.
