I've always heard that certain races have bonuses outside the stats, hit point, and spirit regen categories (such as dwarven resistance to magics), but I've never seen actual documentation on it.

Anyone have the list?

Trading prices in different towns will be affected by a characater's race.

Half-Krolvins are heavily padded to prevent against critical damage from the cold.

Dwarves smell bad.

if you're a halfling, all your plural nouns end in "ses"

ie: Folkses, townses,

and, L's R's are pronounced with W's, ie: woderwick, hewwo

Well, only useful one is the one that prompted me to ask the question, heh. I mean, I've heard rumored concepts on other races, the dwarf magic resistance being one, the elven disease resistance being another, but I was just hoping for a more elaborate and official answer....

.....and god I hate Halflings.

Hazy on it, but dwarves get a mod to encumbrance...I think the encumbrance formula usually has something to do with body weight, where the more weight, the more you can carry. Dwarves if I recall correctly, get a 30% addition to their calculated body weight and thus can carry more. Also, they get a nice +30 TD against warding magic I do believe.

The elven disease resistance is like +100 TD I think against poisons.

I think dwarves are the only ones that have racial mods outside stat effecting bonuses that make people swear by them. Virilneus and all that.
