1. Always wash yourself, or you'll stink like halflings.
2. You may try to attack the guild teacher, but dont dare spit!

Well I learned something.

I was in tackling training with Witt, my favorite guy (Uptill this point hehe)

First attempt:

Witt feints a lunge at you.
>wtrick spit witt shirt
You spit on Witt.

Witt glances down at the spittle trickling down his clothing and slowly begins to redden with rage. In a blinding flash, he slams you to the ground, draws a sword and points its deadly tip directly at your sternum. "Do not...EVER...do that...again!" Witt says through gritted teeth. To emphasize his point, he leans on the sword just enough to painfully puncture the skin.

You are stunned!

Witt gruffly resheathes his sword and kneels beside you, wiping the spit off with your clothes, then stands again. Taking a deep breath, Witt quickly becomes composed again.
>
Witt escorts you back to the training grounds.
[Warrior Guild, East Lawn]
The paths from the north and west break into a large, well-worn spot in the middle of this expansive part of the East Lawn. Obviously, this bare patch was created by the many guild denizens who commit their robust daily practice here. You also see Master at Arms Witt, Master at Arms Khalea, Master at Arms Olaff, Master at Arms Gaetan, a rickety wood shed and a row of workout wheels.
Obvious paths: north, west

Second attempt:

>kick wit
It would probably be a bad idea to try to harm Witt without asking for permission first.
>wtrick spit wit shirt
You spit on Witt.

Witt glares at you intensely and shouts, "You have been warned!"

Witt draws his sword and runs it clear through your midsection.
Your SIGN OF STAUNCHING is no longer effective.

It seems you have died, my friend. Although you cannot do anything, you are keenly aware of what is going on around you...

You mentally give a sigh of relief as you remember that the Goddess Lorminstra owes you a favor.

...departing in 13 mins...

Witt withdraws his blade and cleans it, then quietly wipes himself clean of spittle.

** Dont try this! **

Heh. Yeah, it was. Guess that qualifies as a lesson in who NOT to piss off, eh? :D

My PC always dug Khalea. She reminded her of her mom. :)

Schtand Up!

I always hated that trick, Ilvane would trade it away rather than do spit tricks. It makes her sick..heh.

I always used Gaetan. Though I was quite a guild slacker.

I dislike anything that is unavoidable. You should have atleast a chance to resist or block the attack. I doubt any of those guild masters are better than Jael or Drizzst.

I attempted to sweep Coltrane the other day. Ranger guild master.

He didn't even warn me.

Just pulled out his blade and 'planted it in my chest'

As the guild is unfoggable and undraggable, I lost 10k exp. That pissed me off. Why is the guild master killing me for doing a clumsy floor dance?

It's perfectly unavoidable, don't do it!

I could see a guild master of the same guild having the ability to avoid it, but a guild master has no need to see an NPC guild master.

It's called automatic respect. You screw with a superior in a group, you getted knocked back into your place.

Besides, it's pretty poor RP to abuse a NPC guild master and not have them retaliate. The only way to put a stop to it is to be killed with no chance of defense. At that point only the stupid or incredibly bored will bother with it.

Then why cant I just look at a rolton to have it die? There is no way I will not kill it if I attack it. Might as well be automatic. There is always the chance to fight back. No one and nothing is perfect.
