RL Loves from in game romance

Have you had any successful (or not so much) relationships that started in game and continued on to RL?

Our characters, Iomelindi and Jayvn met in game in Oct of 2004 and got married. In RL, we moved in together in Dec of 04. I'm happy to say have been together ever since!

My char and anothers' player once IM'd after I told her I don't talk OOC with in game romances.
In the end we shared a 'moment' over the phone and letters.
She's a really nice girl and everything but we have to remember we're MILES apart.
It's impossible for me to take it seriously when I know we can never, really be a couple.
Now, I remember my characters first love met a guy in RL who she'd met in game. She was all like ''yeah he only lives in DC and I'm in PA, so it can work''.
The last time I heard from her, she was IMing me, telling me the night before he's hurt her. Beaten her, to be precise.
She moved her whole life to be with him becouse she thought she knew him so well.
If I could pull the IM session from my mind you'd shit your pants. He was like asleep while she was talking to me. And she was all ''I don't know how to call my sons to come get me without him kicking my ass''.
Fuck it. I have a million numbers I could call on my phone if I wanted a relationship. (honestly about 2)
No way would I jump into it RL.

Over the history of gemstone there have been a lot of RL romances based off of it. I mean, a ton. I think most people would be suprised just how much. Lots of them end sadly, but that can be said for most romance I suppose.

Dude, you'll find about a million of them that are mentally fucked when it comes to RL relationships.
But on the other hand, there are loads who're really lovely and adorable.
Once you've figured out who's nuts and who's not, you can easily meet them in RL and have something cool to talk about.

And I've had one cross-country weekend rendezvous with another player, years ago.

There is a lot of wishing that had I met some people in different circumstances, that there could have been a chance for romance with them. But wishing gets me nowhere.

Yeah, I should add in that Stunseed and Jolena were together secretly for a while before James and I started dating. They were friends for a good while before that as well, as were James and I, before taking it further. it's been incredible and I'm very very happy.

My character was actually supposed to marry his characters friend...we told the guy after we hit it off in rl but the guy couldn't keep the game seperate.
