Well I can hunt Zombies with little nicks and scrapes. My Level 24 Bard that is. Though I do not get much experience off them at any reasonable rate. I run out of blessings long before I am fried.

I tried Tree Spirits... Didn't die but I did get boiled almost to death from them. Taking about 50 hp off them at a swing.

Just looking for some Undead or even Alive critters around level 25 or so that I am not gonna get my ass handed to me without a good fight.

Either that or I need to start hunting in a group or just stay at zombies.

BTW - MOC, OHE, Shield

What city are you in?
Are you willing to travel?
Is loot a necessity for you?

Skeletal ice trolls are great, but may hurt you a little if your ds is too low.. Find a group and try em out.

Warfarer's (Landing & River's Rest, living, 25), the Jungle in River's Rest (if you're willing to travel, all living, 21-30ish), I've heard things in Icemule can be good for those levels...

Krynches in Zul Logoth. 31, and sonic flares work very, very well against them. Hard as a rock though, and a rollout manuever.

Kiramon in Illistim.

edit: You'll get banged up, but unless you're training's a mess you should be ok. They're like level 40, and you might want to dodge the defenders for awhile.

Use a sonic weapon.

OR

Hunt reivers. They wear chain and plate and don't cotton to stuns, so bring a snack.

My bard hunted woodsmen and wights in solhaven for a good long while. 1002 shatters their weapons nicely (woodsmen that is) and 1005 usually stopped the wights from casting long enough to kill them. I used to depend heavily on lucksong to avoid boils

She's now in monks and liches. She usually runs away from the monks and tripping the liches then going for the final kill.

ummm my empath hunted trali shaman and forest trali. The gap from like level 25-35 is ... ick. The carrack in RR might work for you too, just watch your encumberance, or you can try the smuggler's lair (also in RR).

Uh....at 24 trains trali will kick your butt. Nothing personal....I hunt them now at 45ish trains and they can be vicious. Spike always hurts, they have very high swing ASs (just north of 300) and higher bolt ASs which they use to blow poison darts at you. Sometimes I'll get hit 1 damage from a poison dart, then the effects will kick in either A) binding me, B) giving me a nice poison or C) causing me to fall down and take hard rt on most actions. They unstun each other, and can also cast bind, silence, etc. Fun place to hunt, just wouldn't recomend it for 25 trains.

I hunted storm and skeletal giants. Then again I'm a bit crazy.

Cyclops in Haven are slow but easy. Less armor than reivers.

Have a ranger put fire resistance in your armor to help with the boils...

It does a great job..

Get a cleric bless. Sonics at that age aren't worth it, especially when you only get +10 vs undead.

You might want to try anwyn soon too, for undead.

Watch out for poison. Skeletal ice trolls are really good. They don't hit hard and have decent treasure.

Cyclops in Solhaven are great they are level 27 I believe but my cleric started hunting them at 20, they push over real easy.

When you make 27 trains you might want to work rotting corpses. Avoid the roaters. Corpses are higher level zombies with a scythe.

I really, really loved the Lake in Solhaven. First with the sorceress and later with my bard. Right now she's working the jungle in RR and it's great. Not a lot of people and the treasure is better than a lot of other places I've tried.

When I was 24 with my bard, I hunted Moaning Spirits/Night Hounds under the graveyard. They're a piece of cake although the call wind does get annoying.
