Shadowbane

Has anyone played this recently? There is some 25 day trial promotion thing thru fileplanet and I was thinking about checking it out.

I tried the free trial of shadowbane. It was interesting, but I was not a fan of the mechanics, and information available for gaming. I would think EQ2 or WOW might be better.

Might I also add that I had problems with the software, and it took 5 days out of my trial to even get started.

Played Shadowbane when it first came out, owning a town was great fun, til it got levelled heh. Way too may people uwing exploits tere when I played

I did as well. Wasn't that great. Zero element but PvP. Not to mention nothing was ever done about hackers. Quit right before the first expansion.
