I had a mental image of short hair, but being wrong is a good thing in this case. The longer hair looks good on you. I did hope for a shot all done-up in eyeshadow and rainbow socks though - you look entirely too normal! :PI'm wearing both in that picture! I think I've told the story about my neighbor waking me up in the middle of the night drilling out his lock at like 3am, and when I opened the door there was a chick and she said "It's just me, I locked myself out".. I have a bald black dude neighbor.. so when a dressed up chick said it, I kinda looked at her, trying to figure out wtf was going on, and just closed the door since they were not trying to get into my house as it were.

A couple of weeks ago some friends and I(three of us showed) went for a night to the Stone Lion Inn in Guthrie, Oklahoma. This is a reported "haunted" mansion. Normally they hold murder mystery week end type things there. On our night there, they had no events scheduled, so the inn keeper unlocked the entire house, and promptly left the house at 7pm. We had a blast..and wayyy too much Patron. I forgot I was supposed to be scared.

I think it's great that you are comfortable in your own skin and unapologetic and all that but, do you wear these things, or will you wear these things when/if you ask a girl out on a date? Or have you and if so what was her reaction? I'm just trying to imagine if my husband had on heels and makeup when he first asked me out if I'd have accepted. I don't like thinking that I am shallow but it would have felt a little weird to me.

From theory and other areas of experience, however, I know that if I never wore nail polish, stripey socks, or heels, I would still be different. In the same way, I am not concerned with what I wear being off-putting when I meet people in general - if a girl is so freaked out by nail polish that she doesn't want to pursue a relationship with me, there is no way she would be able to tolerate who I am underneath it all. If you get all dressed up for the first date, she's just going to expect it. Then when you just want to hang out at your place in your underwear with pizza and a movie she's disappointed. Instead go for the first date like that and you can only go up from there.
