I've only found a couple of high heels that I'm totally comfortable in for hours on end but that doesn't stop me from buying and wearing more than those few good pairs. I just regret it a couple hours into wearing them...

It's true what Jin said, about instant sexiness. I'm a total tomboy and even I feel it when I wear heels. They add an extra roll to your hips when you walk correctly (and not all stiff) and eventually you learn a few tricks for walking in them, like going up stairs on the balls of your feet rather than attempting to put your heel down every time, which can result in taking a fall if you're not careful. Stuff like that.

Honestly, I've never walked in heels that high before. It definitely took some practice. I'm short (5'5"), so, suddenly being 5 inches taller took some getting used to. Talk about an elevator trip.

For real though, my last internship, this one 21 year old female member of support staff used to call things "gay." Now a lot of my friends say it so I'm pretty used to it and it doesn't bother me, but I told her that she shouldn't say that at work. I was just trying to look out for her because she seemed like a good person generally. She looked at me like I had three heads. I remember purging that from my vocabulary when I got into law school. Heh that's the text book response of what you should do. Honestly though, I wouldn't be surprised and I wouldn't blame some of my friends if they didn't want to hang out with me afterward. It's different and it wouldn't be the same. In locker rooms, getting changed, rough housing and all that jazz would probably end up being awkward. I know it wouldn't be different because it would be the same as before but they wouldn't feel that way. I'm comfortable with them being in denial of it because I don't care I guess. This is very true, the bottom button is to never be buttoned. I beleive it has something to do with wrinkling the jacket when trying to gain access to the pockets, if bottom is buttoned you have to go UNDER the jacket to get to the pockets as opposed to just inside of the jacket... Thanks! I hope we have a great time too. I have a few friends who went crazy bridezilla on their fiances so at least I know what to avoid. As for the wedding, it's August 29, 2010 in New York, and for our honeymoon we're going on a 12 day cruise of the Mediterranean and Egypt.
