Its a 6 point. Nice little buck, good for backstrap and sausage.

And I got all excited when you said you snuck up on him, and WTF is the decending tongue clicking tones you mentioned. Is that an East coast stalking technique?

Forgetting a moment that it was you posting, I had images of a camo'd out stalker with a huge buck knife in his teeth waiting to ambush with a crit shot to the neck... or better yet, leveling out a nice heart shot with a .3030 aimed just behind the left forearm. Then you mentioned the flash and reality came crashing back around me.

Le sigh

I kind of explained it already, and you will probably laugh, and it might make no sense to you at all, but its a way I’ve identified myself with animals for a long time now.

What is even more important is the feeling that goes into it. The intent. For me its always non-hostile. Or even moreso, an attempt to communicate.

Many times since living here I have encountered deer, stray cats, squirrels, birds, racoons, and every time, I make that noise with the intent in those encounters. That buck may have heard it before because more than once there was a heard of mixed bucks and does right where he was grazing.

Don’t get me wrong either. If we didn’t live in a world where we don’t have to kill to get food, I’d use it to bag his ass for supper.

Then again, if that were the case, I might never see one up close.

That chili pepper is so cute! Kinda reminds me of Kaitlyn's first Halloween. She was just under 2 months old. I put her in a peas-in-the-pod costume and then filled a basket with blankets and put her inside it. We went to family members houses and left her on the door step with a note that said Trick or Treat, rang the doorbell, and ran like hell. Some of the reactions were really funny. My brother in law started screaming "what kind of sick fuck leaves their kid on a doorstep!" And my step aunt freaked out and started screaming "OH my God! Who's baby is this?! Why are there no parents here?!"

Shari
11-05-2005, 04:17 PM
Okay, chilli pepper is SO cute, Chastittee that is hilariously fucked up, and no my picture is not photoshopped.

There are no shadows because the only light source is the flash. And if I WAS going to photoshop it, I'd be doing a hell of a lot more work to it....ie: thinning my thighs and waist out.

Most of the time, here in San Antonio, the big birthday parties are thrown on the girl's fifteenth Birthday party, or quincenera(?)..It's a debut of sorts. Starts at the catholic church with a small mass, and then to the dance hall. I'm not exactly sure of the origins. Though I do know..those fancy smancy types (the really rich people) hold huge affairs for Debutants to have on their 16th Birthday.

My mother (Cuban) had all that stuff when she turned fifteen. The church and all, anyway. Heh, then her parents got her all dressed up formally with a little tiara, took a picture, and gave it to the newspaper with a mini-story to tell about the fancy debutante ball she didn't really have.

As a little tomboy, I would have killed myself first, so much to my family's disappointment, I didn't have anything like that. I think I sat at home watching Jet Li movies with some friends.

I was suprised how well that one turned out! Happy it did, and thankyou! I love taking photos and hope to take a photography class and maybe see if I can go that direction. Have taken photos for friends and their kids, so who knows!

Appreciate all the good words, you two. Means a lot!

Couldn't resist, I didn't want to post to many so it was a toss up on this one or the one with her looking at the rose... But here is another photo I really like!

Ok, see the two kids in red? That's two normal 4 yr olds playing on the playground at preschool. See the freak in the camo and spidey jacket carrying two rakes? Yeah, that's my son. Why does he have a rake shoved in the back of his jacket you ask? Because swords aren't allowed at school. So he improvises. Those rakes are his weapons. Yes, he dual wields. But why is it in his back you ask? Easy. Back scabbards are also not allowed at school.

Ok, one last one then I gotta go get the kids to school. The T-bird on the far left is my son. The girl on the far right is his "girlfriend" Harmony. It was taken at their preschool graduation last May.

My mam sent me a collage she made yesterday of my puppy, whom is named Jack. Aw, I miss him terribly so. His absence pierces me like a fine needle through thread.

I fear that he will be deceased before I return to the States, so I cherish any photographs I can get of him!

One picture, taken yesterday, displays the marvelous snow that Bristol, Indiana received.

Tabor.

Edited to add: Oh, it appears our other dog, the white one (Bandit is his name) also made a cameo. We got him from the Humane Society, and he's the worst dog ever. We believe his prior owners beat the living shit out of him, as he's PETRIFIED of loud noises, such as lightning. He cowers a lot if you raise your voice, as well.

He also has some sort of eating problem, heh. The day before I left for Ireland, my friend had brought over a Wezas-sized sandwich from Subway and had placed it on the table, in the wrapper still. He turned away momentarily, and Bandit engulfed it in one bite. He doesn't chew, he just swallows.

Let other people have the children. You have tons more fun that way.

You get to pick them up, spoil them, make them into interesting people and when your charity moment and patience is expended they go back home to judge mommy, manipulate daddy, and run the lives of their siblings like you taught them to do. Awww. Sometimes I do so enjoy being an aunt.

Make up will mask your British heritage?

My only advice, Miss X, would be to rightio-chop-chop step away from the nearby nuclear reactor causing you to glow ... greenly.

Other than that, jolly-good picture!

Don't make fun of the Cellphone cam green glow!

It's unavoidable!

You can still see the attractiveness through the green tint. Miss X is a hottie.

The green cast is usually a result of flourescent lighting. If you have any sort of photo program you can balance it by adding magenta to the picture, if my memory serves correct. I only took one semester of color photography. :D

Heh. Hardly, hecto. That's definitely Jenisi. We've seen lots of pics of her over the years, and this one is definitely her. ;)

It's a camera phone so she's cropping out her hand, orange walls are just the camera phone combined with that vanilla wall color. And yes, it's definatly her.

Oh... and how could I forget, a smile like that. Contagious.:D

Hoity-toity. Do you know who you look like? Dr. Green from E.R.?! The fact that you're standing in a BATHROOM is even more bizarre than your resemblance to him! Any sound E.R. fan will recall the incident where Dr. Green got whooped on severely in the bathroom.

I have a newfound respect for you, sir.

P.S.: Send me your autograph, signed as Dr. Green?!

Hey term! I know I've been gone for a while... Haven't done more than log in to advance enchants in nearly a month. Stupid work, I'm trying to find more time to play and post, I hope so.

Anyway, I guess I might as well post a picture of me while I'm here...
