Did I not make it clear? If someone is willing to walk all the way from town then like hell I’m going to let another cleric raise me. Even, if it takes the cleric 10 minutes to get to me. On top of that, I had four different bleeders and only 4 health. Out of reflex, I did symbol of res to get the blood If I would have thought about it more, I would have let myself die again. Next time I’ll go lay down in front of a bloody Griffon if I have to.

Just die again within 5 or 10 min or whatever the time limit is. That way the vulture can't raise for, what is it, an hour?
Or did they change that?

It's a little bit shorter than 5 minutes I think, but yes if you die before the link is broken the cleric can not raise any one else for an hour.

Number one, Tsin's group has done it more then once which is what pissed me off and not only to me.
Number two, it may look like that went on for 30 seconds when it went on only for a few. I was too shocked at being dragged so fast that I didn't even have the time to type unlink. As you saw, He dragged me so fast that I tried to say a raiser was coming, which didn't even come out until we were in the next room.
The only reason he knew I was dead was because Arkalm dragged me through the room with Tsin and the other 3-5 characters sitting there protecting a million boxes.
Number three, I'm sorry but I was always taught that if a cleric says that yes, they are on their way, that it was rude to let another cleric raise me just because they were closer and faster.
Number four, I don't care how you say it, if you don't want to be raised by a certain cleric because of RP or because another cleric has stated they were making the journey to help you out, you should respect that and back off.
to respond to someone who posted, if he ever does it again, I do plan on killing myself right after.

You have 15 seconds to unlink after 308 is casted at you.... Plus, you typed a bunch of other stuff instead of unlinking, so you obviously had plenty of time.

When Tsin or Chazym comes in after you've died you should just depart. If he manages to get you just unlink right before he raises.
Tsin has to raise like that because I'm faster than him and I beat him to every body in OTF. He's gone as far telling me that even if I beat his pet, it's his raise because the pet was on it's way. Also he won't let me use Chazym's portals, not that I need to.
He's even tried sabotaging my rescues by legging constructs on the approach because they take 200 mana for me to kill. In this example I beat him to Kareese, as usual, and he decided to be a pussy about it.
Kareese gives a ghostly chuckle.

A swirling grey-blue mist slowly fills the area. It begins to spin faster and faster, congealing into a large upright disk. The mist slows its spinning and within the swirling vapors you can make out an opening.

Tsin steps out of the swirling mist.

Tsin chuckles.

[Old Ta'Faendryl, Southern Road]
Trees and brush thicken and grow with an increasingly vigorous appearance along the edges of the road to the north. To the south, the road is wider, the sicklier vegetation of the swampy lowlands apparently less able to compete with its cobbled surface. You also see an erratic astral spirit that is flying around, a greater construct, a curved silvery blade, a twisted crystal-tipped staff, a twisted crystal-tipped staff and a twisted crystal-tipped staff.
Also here: the body of Kareese who is lying down

Tsin loves GS in an unhealthy way, and I picture him at his PC controlling his army of capped zombies as something like:
http://www.tehty.edu.hel.fi/oppilaat/oppilaiden_kotisivut_2004/MJulius/h4x0r.jpeg
But other than that, he's an ok guy. Annoying when he's trying to sell stuff, but still an ok guy.
Now that that's out of the way, I'll just echo everybody else:
Teeoncy,
- You're stupid.
- You're full of shit about not having time to type UNLINK because you had time to type plenty of other shit.
- You're dumb.
- If your nerves were frazzled because you died in an online text-based roleplaying game, you need psychiatric help.
- You weren't really frazzled. You were just trying to cover up the part where you stuck your foot in your mouth by saying you didn't have time to type UNLINK, and came out looking 10 times dumber than your original post made you look.
- You're annoying.
- Nobody gives a shit about your opinion on anything GS related.
- Nobody gives a shit about your opinion on anything non-GS related.
- I like to hump farm animals.
- You come here to bitch about vultures, then are repeatedly told how you could have easily avoided it, make up bullshit excuses about why you couldn't, get called out again, then are like "blah blah blah I'm done with this thread," most likely because you eat Frosted Shit Flakes for breakfast.
ALSO:
Plus I've seen him vulture so many times, I avoid him raising me any chance I get. Even he knows that, how many times has tsin bitched at me for decaying?

or how bout..
Hey is GSWHORE17 the kind of retard that drools and rubs shit in her hair and all that, 'cause I'm gonna have a hard time eatin' 'round that kind of thing now. Just like I am with antique furniture and midgets. You know that, I can't so much as drink a damn glass of water around a midget or a piece of antique furniture.

I don't think so. He's proved he's an imbecile again and again, and will undoubtedly continue to do so. Everytime I walk by Shit For Brains he tries to sell me stuff or be my friend ("join my group while I blow this warhorn...+30 to AS for 15 minutes!!!").

The constant bugging-you-like-a-used-car-salesman-wanting-you-to-buy-stuff gets annoying, sure, but what's wrong with offering you +30 AS just because you happened to walk by?

1. CT's new avatar is cute enough to make me vomit pink fuzzies.
2. In keeping with that theme -- Team Spuncat for president/vp 2008!
3. GSLady, I don't think with the vastness of Tsin's army you can say succinctly whether or not you in fact asked Tsin's player for help in some mode.

Much like his rescues, he's just doing it to strut his stuff, not out of any desire to help. I'd always decline because I don't really want to 'owe' him anything. I'm really not interested being seen associating with him either.
It's probably a mix of the bought characters, the blatant MAing even during conflicts, the used car salesman pitch, and just some shady shit I've watched him do in game.

Ok... I have to speak up on Tsin behalf... Flam me if you want to but this is just my opinion.
Sometimes I hate Tsin (Way to speak up eh?)
Sometimes I like Tsin
Sometimes Tsin can be an ass
Sometimes Tsin can be sweet
Sometimes Tsin can be mean
Sometimes Tsin can be nice
I've never had any issues with Tsin. He's never tried to sell me anything (Maybe because he knows im poor :) He's never tried to throw his capped characters in my face or ever expected or asked for any kind of gratitude or repayment for a raise. Basically I've never had any issues with Tsin... except that one time he was drunk and wouldn't stop flirting during a merchant at the spitfire...
Gotta admit... that was pretty funny :)

I was tired last night, I went to bed. I didn't say I wouldn't post in the thread ever again.
As for doing it so Teeo loses deeds, Teeoncy doesn't use deeds. Like I said before, usually she decays and then tsin gives her an hour long lecture (or until she walks off) about how decaying is abusing mechanics.
Nerves frazzled as in all of sudden since I died 50 people are IMing me asking why, the cat keeps clawing at my toes, arkalm is whispering to me (which I took out of the log) and I just had too many things going on.
But yes, I'll put clerics on cold. Probably the best advice so far in this thread.

Yet you managed to still be able to tell Tsin you had a cleric coming and ask someone to drag you, but weren't able to type 6 characters to form the word UNLINK followed by the enter key.
All you had to say here was "I just didn't think of it at the time" instead of "I didn't have time to type UNLINK because a piano fell on me. I only had time to say I had a cleric coming and ask someone to drag me, which takes longer to type than a 6 letter word."

actually... I think it would be twelve characters... unless you can shorten "confirm":
Unli Confirm
OR... if you are like me and have trouble typing when in a hurry (okok.. I have trouble at anytime)...
MACRO key set "*" to read: Unlink confirm\r
Not an easy key to hit on accident, but easy to find. *thinks*
An ounce of prevention saves a pound of cure and all that...
Edited to add: On Silverthreaded's part... well. That wasn't right of him to do. Just because a character has expected behavior doesn't make it acceptable behavior in my book. Just be ready for him next time, since you weren't in this instance if there IS a next time. Fool me once shame on you; fool me twice shame on me... my aren't I full of quotable quotes. Sheesh. :D

Seems they taught you selective reading in that Excellerated English class of yours.
The FIRST response to your post was a comment against Tsin. Others have commented that they felt he was a vulture and a pain.
However, with that being said, we still have your reputation to uphold. What more do you want? Respect? You need to give some to get it.

Oh, yeah. Try to turn it back on us. If you had just left off the last little dig (I'm surprised you all like vultures is all), then that would have been a nice honest mature statement. (for you) However, you have a big problem when you post something and someone asks you why you didn't do something, you make up elaborate excuses/lies instead of just saying ... gee I didn't think of that at the time OR it was my fault and it won't happen again.(like you finally said but had to get that dig in!) THAT'S what bugs me about you. (well one of the things)
I sort of feel sorry for you in a 'freak show' sort of way.

I love them. I couldn't give an ounce of whale shit who heals me or raises me. If I'm dead or injured, I wanna be alive and uninjured asap.
They should just let everyone in TSC run healbots 24/7 so as soon as you walk through the room you're healed and/or raised insantly. No more waiting around for stupid song and dance rituals with 200 word recite bullshit about how they're the holiest of all clerics in the universe while doing every action on 3 scripted items followed by some lame ass act verb.
Plus if they vulture you, not only are you healed/raised but you won't feel bad about not tipping them either.
And if you're in a bad mood you have an excuse to kill them. What's not to love about vultures?
