Seem to be one of the most overated/overpriced items I've seen in quite some time.

( started a seperate thread as I didn't want to tromp on a sales thread unless Gswhore17 was selling said items.)

I never was big into archery.. only converted an old empath into an archer puff o' dooom but what makes those bows any better then say a 6x rapier with flares?

^oh maybe firing from shadows but aside that?

They flare on every shot.

Oh I thought that was just the old style not the new style.

Well there's three distinct categories of elemental bows from their releases.

Old style - the original 10x ones that flare all the time.
New style - the scaled enchant for rangers that flared all the time
Wavedancer - 4x base with enchant on the projectile varying and randomized flaring/flares

The way you pose the question makes it sound like you aren't aware of the other properties of elemental bows. Or are you and you just didn't know the difference from the WD ones and the old style?

Nope I knew the difference but that is why I don't understand why the "new style" wavedancer ones are priced so stupidly high .

Stray said it flared every shot and confused me.

He's British, it's not his fault.

So you think that the old style ones are priced properly(at around 300m) but the new style ones aren't(current one at 165m)?

I think 165m or $2000 is WAY more than it's worth. Pretty fucking crappy bows. Random sucks.

I dunno. I rather love my long bow. Doesn't matter to me if the enchant of the arrow varies. It's blessed, it flares, and the arrows self generate!

You also didn't pay 2000 dollars or 165m for it.

But for free you got a puncturing weapon with random enchant and normal flaring.

The flares and enchant are relatively small pieces of what elemental bows can do.

The WD versions still:
Permablessed
Unlimited arrows
Minimum base RT of 3 seconds regardless of strength

Of course there's the minimization of keystrokes because you don't have to get an arrow and then fire, as well. The arrows now crumble too, so there's no need for any cleanup with gathering and bundling.

Hehe so at about 9 dollars per million.... even you know the shit is overpriced as that is a hefty discount.
