If you just "warn" someone....your character will cast a stern warning glance at them.

It's a rp'ing tool, like smile or wave.

I was warned by Bob, and Zarvon. :rolleyes:

Bob warned me because the guy that fogged to me when I was dead stunned him. Somehow this was my fault, even though I was dead.

Zarvon warned me because I stunned him for calling me names. After he warned he hid in the shadows and called me more names.

I've only been warned idiots.

Ive been warned once as my Cleric, by a complete idiot. She did it just after I warned her of interaction obviously retaliation on her part considering all I had said to her that day was 'stop whispering to me, leave me the hell alone'. :rolleyes:

I've been warned by three different characters about 3-4 times each.

The irony is that all of them have been thieves or poachers.

The thieves make half assed attempts at being highwaymen. Half assed in that they sit on the trails between Zul and the Landing or Zul and Vaalor and just steal as people wait in line for the ferry or a cart ride.

I take legs from poachers, and dip if I'm playing the rogue. I take hands from thieves. In either scenario, if the warn verb is thrown out, they get killed.

I've never warned with my PC. I don't believe in settling IC conflicts in that way and find it pretty childish unless someone brings an ooc element into the situation.

I had to use warn last night for that idiot Hulkein. Here I am outside the town gate he sweeps me which stuns me for 20 seconds then kills me.

Heck I never heard of the buffoon before. I never interacted or RP with him. I found out he thought I was Haashek. Well gee with me being a sorci I dont think Im a warrior.

But for the record many heard about this and Hulkein if you read this. I'd stock up on deeds son. You really ticked some folks off. Dont worry I wont come after you as it's a waste of time and besides many want to do it out of spite. So I will watch the dust reports and see your name and cackle everytime.

Sweeping stunned you for 20 seconds? Damn, I know 160 train rogues that can't even do that. You must be talking about that uber 500 train + area that exist somewhere in that one guys fantasy land...

Hmm. Pretty sure Hulkein's a warrior. Sweep lasts a max of 10 seconds, tackle can go up to 20. I guess you wouldn't know that though, having never done any guild work.

Got your family on him though, huh. Looks like Lil Boom Boom Anticor has work to do!

I've never been warned, and never used warn on anyone....haven't found myself in the situation that it was needed, thank goodness.
