i think both are VERY funny, in that editorial comic sort of way. there is always room to laugh, even during/at tragic events

Tell me, Latrin, since you're a person of faith. Do two wrongs make a right?

:chuckles:

I guess everything is open to interpretation. But mine was that the first comic laughs at the poor preparedness/incompetance of the gov't and the second at the American public and our gas guzzling.

That's how I took it, as well, Landrion.

And for clarification, I wasn't talking about the comics themselves, I was specifically addressing "there is always room to laugh, even during/at tragic events", emphasis mine.

I snicker every time I see sale SUV commercials or the lots that are filled with them (what?! they're not all the rage anymore?! :gasp!: ) in my lil deisel bug.

by laughing AT i dont mean laughing AT people dying. i'm referring to the lack of preperation, as described in the comic. nothing about people dying is funny. it's the same thing as 9/11. the mayor of NYC (not even going to attempt to spell it) came on SNL and said its time to laugh again, and fun was poked at the events, mildly. not at the people who lost their lives in the mess, just the whole situation as well.

i hope that clarifies things a bit.

Yeah, it was stating that someone could be better educated and have better schooling should be pulled. :P

its about that. more about the sterotype of black rappers and their police records.
