Any different paths you would suggest, or do I just need to be patient?

Unless you are Voln, or it's a part of her RP, I might lose the brawling and use those points for something else like say CM or PT or dodge maybe.

Well she's already fully doubled in CM, PT and Dodge. Going above that has minimal benefits. I'd say go for tripled armor use until you can wear metal BP.
Metal armor is the super sexy goodness.

What do you need to be patient about? Are you not killing as well as you'd like?

Yea... Brawling is nice in Voln, but if you aren't doing TWC it's pointless. So if you are not in that society, dump, dump some climbing and some swimming for the time being(15/10 will get you through most areas till Pinefar, if you ever go there).
Not sure if 9 ranks of AS are doing anything for you, other than invoking 103, if you find yourself not using scrolls much, drop that as well. Pick up more armor or try for 2x MoC

Yeah, do most warriors go for scroll use?
Mine does not, and i'm just wondering as well what you find it most helpfull for.

Path looks fine to me. What are you struggling with? Getting MBP would certainly help.
9 ranks of scroll use will help plenty (assuming you have the scrolls to use). You're starting in a bit of a hole because of your low mental stats, but you should be able to invoke 101, 202, 103 quite easily.
I haven't gone for scroll use with my warrior, because at his level with dissipation he wards (to my surprise) rather well, but that will probably change as the levels roll on. I imagine he'll pick some up eventually.

I'm not hitting as hard as I expected at 33, really.
She is a voln master, too. That's why I'm doing brawling.
I figured scroll use would be useful in the future when I need some spells to hunt..right now I seem to live through most hunts anyway.

Well not hitting hard enough could be affected by a number of factors.
Your AS should be fine since you:
2x Weapon skill
2x CM
Max STR Bonus
In a Society
It might be lower than other warriors your level because:
Elf STR bonus is lower than say a giant/dwarf
Society bonus is a few points lower than COL
Other factors include:
Weapon enchant
Cman skills you chose
Cman Surge
Weapon specialization
Weapon bonding
If you feel that you're not inflicting enough damage when you do connect that can be based on:
Weapon type you're using
Crit weighting of weapon
What you're hunting and what armor they are in
I've got a warrior around 30 I don't use very often but when I do hunt, he feels like a monster swinging a lance and wearing MBP. Try a big, heavy weapon like a claid?

I have a claid and a battlesword, which is vultite.:) I'm working on what CMan skills I should be doing, maybe I need to work on that too.

What are you hunting? Are you disabling them in some way first or just open swinging?

What is your AS and DS?

The best advice I can give you right now concerning scrolls is to get as much as you can while you are young. It's cheaper in MIU and once you hit places like the skull temple and then eventually the barrier... if you don't have any magic skills you won't be able to wear any spells due to spell burst.

Well, I just did some CMans and it seems to be helping. I did some training in Surge and in weapon spec, and did some weapon bonding. Seems to help a bit. Maybe I was just concerned because I see warriors I think are my age that are much stronger..heh.

They could be Giantmen, or in CoL, or spelled up, or any combination of the above. It's generally fruitless to compare your character to another warrior, especially if you don't know what level he or she is.

Well if you are swining a great sword or a claid, even if you are getting 120 end rolls you should be doing damage.
Do you want over kill? And at 33 in Voln, wracking up favor is where you should be...
But where are you hunting? And why isn't bonding mastered? Hah!

I'm in skeletal trolls and giants right now, mostly..and yeah, I need to have some more favor, all the time..lol.

My 41 warrior has like a 260 AS when he's just fighting with a claidh.
When I hunt roa'ters, though, I've got a 4x bastard sword, symbol of courage, bravery, surge of strength.. +69 from my claidh AS, putting me at about 328.

Best way to hit hard? Go paladin. My paladin is around Bob's level, and swings 400+ self spelled, 4x weapon, society, and wizard strength. Obviously more if I care to toss in a pure potion, or somesuch. That, and the damage factor bonus from 1605 makes the already sick two handers even sicker. Oh, and 1635 rocks my world. Plus you can sanctify your big swords so favor hunting is a breeze. (Just in case you were wondering, I <3 my pally) I don't even miss the guild skills I lost at conversion. Anyway..thats my 2 and a half cents.

I've found with courage, and cman surge as well as with my weapon spec 1 and bonding..I'm at 304 as at 33. She's swinging a vultite battlesword.
I fixed things yesterday, it wasn't that good before!

Yeah. Surge, wspec, and bonding are what's needed. Berserk is really the only guild skill you flat out need, though mastering tricks is also helpful.

after skimming over the posts, I'd say your first bet, since you use a claid, is to drop the few ranks of ambush you have. Lot's of points doing little to no good for you. :) Push you're armor higher, maybe get some MIU/more scroll reading to assist in hunting.
As for your lack of AS, you should be doing fine in that department. :) You might be trying to overhunt just a tad too much?

I have a young warrior, and I'm trying to put her in armor that would give her the best protection.
1. How many ranks do you need for half-plate?
2. How many for chainmail?
3. which is better?

Half plate is better.
