In my experience shops have gone for higher than 20 on Ebonwood, being the first road, easy to find, etc... Deeper into the area the price begins to fall to about 12ish on the back road, though I have seen even those go for 16. Just some thoughts...

Thanks,
Hak

The advent of playershops.com means it no longer matters where on the road your shop is located. Location only matters if you're retarded and your shop is on Teras.

PS The above post may or may not be motivated by the fact that I would buy the shop but do not have 20 mil.

Sortof off topic, but are there any unpuchased shops anywhere in the lands still?

There isn't any in the useful places like Landing, Sol Haven or Icemule. I don't know about the other areas. I wouldn't imagine there are any left.

Hey! My shop WAS on teras!!

I catered to local needs though, importing pure potions and such. And it was a museum of my things for a bit.

Why do I know that 'local needs' does not include something my char would have paid millions for?

Alot of you may think that the playershops.com is used alot, but in reality it's hardly used by many players in GS. Location of a shop does increase the price quite a bit. I mention to everyone to check my shop out and they don't even know where the playershops are.

But, 15-30 mil are the normal BOs for landing shops even in the back.

I get so pissed off when I'm browsing playershops.com and something I really uber want is in a Teras shop or an EN shop. So very pissed.

PS Cat is the opposite of retarded

heh I got my second shop in the Landing on Spinewood for 5 million. I've seen them go for 10-20 though. I just personally wouldn't pay that much.

Dude. I use playershops.com all the freakin' time. Love that website. I'd be so screwed without it. Remember when it was down for like a week? I was going through withdrawls. Its like...the new crystalamulet.com.

Every few months, they'll release building lots from folks who've either not visited their shop for six months or not paid rent. I got my first two shops when they were first introduced and then maybe six or seven months ago, got another one in the Landing for another character when someone left the lands. Just check in with the permit office now and then and you're bound to get lucky eventually.
