Today some one in Vaalor was saying out loud he lived there and declaring every thing he should do to prepare.

He was saying OOC outloud before everything though so it must have been ok.

I felt like whispering to him and telling him to actually go do those things to prepare instead of playing GS but I figured he had enough grief at the moment.

Hope everyone stays safe as well as those going through the same disaster.

The thing people need to understand, is that New Orleans is divinely protected from the full force of a hurricane.

That definitely isn't what all the experts are saying. In a direct hit by a particularly powerful hurricane (such as this one), the seawalls of New Orleans will be overcome and hold water IN. I've always heard that loss of life, without evacuation in such an event, is projected to be catastrophically high. Fortunately, the possibility of a direct hit remains small, even if they do get something.
