So last night I stayed up really late working and posting on the PC (i'm on course to do it again tonight). When I went to sleep I had a REALLY weird dream. I don't normally remember my dreams but this one I did..

I was a hostage negotiator... a WHALE hostage negotiator, as in if a whale got kidnapped, they would call on me to negotiate. I don't remember all the details but needless to say I was negotiating the release of some whales. (I even got into an argument with another whale negotiator about who has saved more).

I don't even really like whales, let alone have any reason to think about them enough to have a dream.

It's the oddest dream of my recent memory, anyone care to share their weird dreams?

I have tons but I like to interperate dreams.

It sounds to me like you are in a situation in your life where you are experiencing conflict, but not certain how to go about getting your point across. You definitely have a cause, but you are not clear on what that cause is or how to go about expressing yourself for that cause.

Uhh... Where did you come up with that. I'm not saying it's wrong, I'm just wondering where you got that from.

Interporate... Interperate... (strike one... strike two...)

According to Fox News your post means you're a tree-hugging liberal (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,166527,00.html)

I have dreams all the time that my teeth are falling out. According to my dream dictionary, it means I fear change.

According to the same dictionary, whales in dreams represent "The powerful evolutionary drive involved in reproduction, which lies behind individual male or femaleness."

In American Indian Mythology, teeth falling out means death.

My most recent wierd dream:

I was looking up into the sky and there was this misshapen missle like thing heading towards the earth. It was misshapen so much it looked sorta like a tree without branches. Anyway, it finally hit and the ground shook like a terrible earthquake. Later in the news it said lots of buildings were destroyed and the missle or whatever it was hit part of California. That part of California was lost out into the ocean.

Cool huh? Should I give Arnold a call?

I dream a LOT. My family and friends, coworkers etc all end up in my dreams quite often. What I find odd is that I have lost five relatives in the past to death and I find it strange that after they died I never dreamed about them again. I'd think my unconcious mind would be recreating them in my dreams.

It's too bad because some of them I would really like to see again, even if only in a dream.

When I dream about people who've passed, they have a vacant quality about them. Somewhat zombie-esque but not in any frightening way, as though the essential life force is missing, and I'm interacting with a shell of who they were.

I’ve dreamt about my grandparents who have passed on a number of occasions. I’ve found them quite normal and I’m usually pleased with those dreams.

I’ve been a big fan of dreams for a long time now. As for interpreting, if there is any methodology behind it, its a mix of Freud and American Indian dream theory.

Far as I’m concerned, when you dream its all internal. Meaning, there is nothing external at work. It is just you and your mind either working things out or defragging the mental harddrive.
