Just had an amusing thought conversation:

You hear the subdued thoughts of Drunvallo echo in your mind:
"Would, then, a 10x bow with e-bladed arrows be the equivilant of a 14x weapon?"


You hear the subdued thoughts of Kimmurial echo in your mind:
"I bet those pieces a worth something now!"

You hear the subdued thoughts of Hulkein echo in your mind:
"No"

You hear the subdued thoughts of Brimzstone echo in your mind:
"nope highest is 10x"

You hear the subdued thoughts of You echo in your mind:
"Highest enchant is not 10x, though."

You hear the subdued thoughts of Kimmurial echo in your mind:
"ya confused Hashum I tried to rob the bank not own it"


You hear the subdued thoughts of Sertao echo in your mind:
"highest Enchant is 10x... Doesn't mean it wouldn't stack."

You hear the subdued thoughts of Querthose echo in your mind:
"There are a few cases of weapons that have been enchanted over 10x"

You hear the subdued thoughts of Crio echo in your mind:
"i have heard tell of items over 10x not sure if they are true or not "

You hear the subdued thoughts of Sertao echo in your mind:
"no there are a few cases of weapons that are altered in some way by a spell or something to make them act temporarily over 10x"

"but permanently, no weapon can be over 10x"

"Believe me, they exist"

"they do... your right.. but not in this "game" area.. there is an island for chars over lvl 300 worth of exp that has over 10x but they aren't allowed to be in the normal game area... if they are then thats kind of a violation of policy"


You focus your mind on Sertao and think:
"What the hell are you talking about? The highest level person is 280"
Roundtime 5 seconds.

You hear the subdued thoughts of Sertao touch your mind:
"actually the highest lvl in this game area is 280, but some of the people who played GS when it first started are still playing, and the highest of them is lvl 580ish. They are in a seperate area of the game on a seperate server... and only the highest ranking GMs can cross over between the two."

You focus your mind on Sertao and think:
"Lol, biggest pile of crap I've ever heard. Thanks for the laugh."

There are a few weapons and shields with permanent enchants higher than +50 to answer your question. So yes, you were technically correct. It's just that your average peon will never truly know of their existence, so leave it be.

Man, I want to go to that island. Is that where the level 500 black dragons or whatever are? Someone told me those were the oldest monsters in the game back when I started playing.

Hmm..you know..I have a friend who told me once a while back that there was some 'secret island' for 300+ characters that is on a separate server.. but I honestly laughed at him and said he was dumb.. this is very interesting though hehe.

When I first started playing GS I totally fell for the Tkaro root thing! Wasn't till I asked a friend who had been playing for ages and he put me right.
