Scripting pains.... ! A lil bit more to...

ok i have been working my way through this script for about 4 days now. I got it so it will now pick up all the loot that goes with the servants.... I was wondering if there is a way that I can get it to ignore all boxes and just go for gems and the other stuff?? I was wondering if anyone could point my in the right direction.. Here is what im using now....... well just the looting part..




dead:
put stance defensive
put wear shield
put loot
put stow left in cloak
put rem shield

If anyone gets bored the could take a glance at that script and tell me what the hell to do right with it.. Aynone there please give me a lil help here. This scripting things is like trying to read a different language in a mirrors refelction for me.

After "put loot" and before "stow left" put this:

I'd also recommend putting some pauses or waitfors in so you don't get typeahead issues. For instance instead of:

put stance defensive
put wear shie
put loot

do:

put stance defensive
waitfor You are now
put wear shie
waitfor You sling
put loot

this is what i did with your advice.. for some reason when it gets to the glance command it just stops the script.. i am running this in stormfront if that matters.. please help me one more time with this .. its probably my mistake somehow .. lol

Change "%s" to "%s%" if you're in Stormfront. My bet is it gets to glance, sees no strongbox, and then goes "%s?? WTF IS THAT?!?!?" *crash*

This ends the part of the post where I know where I'm talking about. Intense guessing to follow:

I'm pretty sure you can still use "save" in SF. If not, change all the saves to "setvariable boxname " and then where it says "%s" change that to "%boxname%".

ok i will go make those changes yah remonded.. this is probably it for todays posting on this script but beware i am sure i can work myself back into a corner and have more great help questions tomorow first thing .... thanks again for those who have been very understanding and willing to help...
