What's not fair/sad is the fact the lag was so bad I just logged out after logging in for the first time in weeks (other than to pour cast enchant for a customer)

[OOC]-You: "I don't understand why people go out there when they know they're going to die and complain when they do."

[OOC]-You: "Like, I get pissed when I die in invasions, but I'm not like, "THIS IS UNFAIR NO ONE CAN KILL THEM""

heh, we were well on our way to killing the vathor when it did that. I wouldn't go if I didn't think I had a chance.

If I was capped I'd smoke it like a cheap cigar.

Wow...that's some nice major e-wave action there.

Glad I didn't stick around with one of my little ones when the invasion started. She ran through four or five rooms from Sol to the ogres to hunt (didn't know the bugger's were there..luckily, I think they had all just got quaked or something because they were all prone). And then after her ogre hunt, I decided to take her to Landing...and had to run through about six rooms of icky stuff (that I didn't realize would be there) to get to safety. Luckily, she didn't die. :)

Vathor are tough, but they have been brought down before.

The guiding forces leave the vathor.

That happened about half a second after walking into the room. :(

I hate dying in invasions as well, and if I bitch it's usually about me dying. Invasions aren't meant to be easy, so I don't see what gets people so pissed.

As soon as I logged in, Evarin noticed it was raining blood and joined in the fighting. He worked with a group that killed many Vathor and Oculath(SP). I do not believe these creatures are meant to be fought alone.

Even took one of those Vathor maneuvers. Look to be stunned for about 3-4 rounds or so. Yay for crit padding.

Just don't try to take on more than one vathor at a time, they are post 130.

What's really disapointing is getting a +500 endroll on them and doing about 60 damage.

Yeah, don't get my post wrong, I was saying it tongue in cheek. I love invasions. I think those critters are awesome (and we were hunting the vathor in a group).

It was just our turn in the barrel :)

Enjoy it while you can, I really think they are wrapping up the GSS soon.

Note: If someone wants to quote this three years from now when it's not done, feel free to.

More like 120's...and fight like 180's. I think the reiver archmages were 130. And I've been in groups killing vathor's before and I know my strongest foe hasn't changed from them yet. Unless I got lucky and killed a really old archmage.

Bastid gm's and uber critters. Helps if you get them fully dispelled and phased I think it is to nail em. Definatley need a group to knock them down.

Nothing's topped my toughest.

Strongest foe vanquished: a shadowy Luukosian arch-lich

I've killed multiple abyrana's, I hit a vathor, and deskulled a reiver archmage.
