And yet again, despite having done this hundreds of times last year, I haven't learned my lesson. Two midterms tomorrow and a paper (that I got extended from today) due Saturday. I haven't slept since I woke up Wednesday morning, looking at another all nighter. Kids, learn your lesson, do your work ahead of time. And it would behoove you to not skip lectures.

I'd rather be forced to sit through Glitter AND Gigli than do this again.

Hehehe, I was like that the whole time I was at Univeristy. I did my final year dissertation in a week.
I find that I can't work unless I'm under pressure, so doing things in advance wasnt an option! It all worked out in the end though, and looking back it was so easy!

Why put off something today that you could easily put off tomorrow?

I'm a procrastinator... For some things. Like homework and assignments. I find I do my best work at the last minute, for some reason. Maybe it's the adrenaline. My best debate speeches were all written while the other side was actually up giving their speech.

Time and time again, I get top marks on anything I do at the very last minute. Never got less than a B for something last minute. I don't know why, honestly, I just know it's true. And I ain't gonna knock the system.

So procrastination works for me, heh. Waiting to the last minute to do something is not a problem. It's not doing it at all that gets me...

At least then you could nap.

Good luck!

I admit I'm the queen of procrastinators, and I don't know if my quality of work would improve if I did it ahead of time, because I have never done it that way. I have thought about trying it that way, and I'm sure I will some day...

I'm very goal oriented, so even housecleaning has to have some point for me, like company coming, or being able to eat with clean silverware, so I think that's my problem, my storm windows that I started working on this spring before it got too hot are still waiting for me to finish, and since the temps have dropped to below freezing at night and 40's in the daytime, I'd better get going on them ;)

I love procrastinating.

Honestly, I personally think it's better for me to procrastinate and then get into the "ZONE" where my mind focuses nonstop on what I'm supposed to do, rather than do a bit here, then there, so on so forth.

I can't function unless I have a deadline breathing down my neck.

All through H.S. I did my assignments literally between classes, past the first bell and dotted my last i as everyone was handing in the assignment.

College was pretty much the same. I was a strange one however. I normally read the textbooks cover to cover several times before the mid-term.

At work, I twiddle my thumbs until the last possible moment and then perform whatever function needs to be performed.

I have tried the alternative, get it done and not worry about it, but I get so bored so easily.

Yeah, I hear your attention span dwindles back to nothing when you reach your second childhood.

Do you have a rocking chair at work too?

EDIT: Let it be known that I have spent the last 4 hours watching Family Guy and eating popcorn instead of studying.

It's 5 am, I haven't slept since I woke up on Thursday morning. But it doesn't matter.

I'M FINISHED. FINISHED FINISHED FINISHED.

And I can't sleep, because I've had about 8 red bulls, 4 double shots of espresso and countless cups of coffee in the last few days.

You could always cut your arm off to get out of it.

Except he gets my approval, because Family Guy is one of the greatest shows of all time.

I'm a procrastinator as well.

49 hours awake and counting.

I tried drinking warm milk, hot chocolate, and eating a turkey sandwich. I'm still not sleepy, but I do want to vomit.

Just lay down and close your eyes. You'll fall asleep eventually.
