A chuckling greatcloak???

So, today I decided to get rid of junk in my lockers. I picked up a rose pink greatcloak (VLA, non closing) to use as a container while cleaning. Standing in the locker room, I was emptying my locker into the cloak, when suddenly....

The doll doesn't chuckle, and nothing in the cloak should chuckle. I can't figure it out.

That's not a fair assumption. I cleaned out the locker for just one of my characters yesterday, and decided I didn't want to take the time and figure out what half of it was since it's been in there forever and my memory sucks, so I just left it laying there for whoever happened to need something.

man that's kinda creepy... lol... I've never had an item that made a low raspy chuckle... I don't know if my char would freak out in game... but its helarious.

Any update if it was actually the cloak... I'm seriously curious as to the cause.

Nope, no idea at all what it was. It definitely wasn't any of the dolls, as I've had them for a while and they've never chuckled before. The cloak hasn't chuckled since either though. I wish I knew what it was but am leaning towards a GM chuckling at my weird stuff.

I would check the grinning skull pin..Those things made odd faces..maybe a sound too?

It's the doll.
I like how you keep saying it's not, but it is.
The dolls had a random action each time you interacted with it. Sometimes it did nothing. Sometimes it chuckled inside your cloak. Sometimes it crawled into your hands. Sometimes it crawled into other containers. Sometimes it spun its head. But, it's the doll. One of them. Maybe the ranger, or the botanist, but it's a doll.
