Michigan Rennaisance(sp?) Festival

Well, it's about that time for the Michigan Ren Festival in Holly Michigan to begin. (It's roughly an hour or so from Detroit).

Anyway, if anyone is interested in going on a weekend, please let me know, I think it would be interesting to get a group to either carpool or meet up there.

Im going! I'll be bringing my brat and my mom, we're making it a kinda family outing. Not sure which day we're gonna go though.

My mom's been to it before, I was living in Virginia so I've never gone.

Yes, I'm dressing up :) So is my daughter.

It's a cool festival, I was there a few years ago. My only complaint was that too much was in the hot sun.

Take sun screen for the little ones.

The michigan Ren fest is pretty fun.. I don't have any details yet, but it basically goes on for awhile, so you know.. trying to keep this thread alive...

Not sure when im going, my little one had her tonsils out 2 weeks ago, we were just waiting on her to feel better. She feels better now :cool: so we can pretty much make any weekend day.

I've been to the one in MI in the fall. I forget where and what it was called per se... I had a great time even if it was a little muddy.

Unfortunately I missed the the faire in CA I wanted to go to cause of moving... still unpacking lol.

yezzzz, well, the michigan ren fest seems pretty elaborate compared to some of the others that I have been to.

Keep me posted on the situation, I'd love to meet some people up there. In any case, I'll end up going one way or another.

I believe he's waiting for several to say which weekend they want to try for. I'll link him to this thread the next time I see him online.
