Not sure if this is intended or not, but I would like to know. I personally feel that I should not of been warded while in hiding since the critter had nothing to cast at ... BUT ...

EXAMPLE:

[Temple Wyneb, Calvaria]
A skeleton slumps against the far wall, its clothing little more than rotting scraps laid on dry bones. Small metal arrows are scattered across the floor and imbedded in the wall, each one furry with dust. Has the trap been neutralized by this unfortunate soul, or will your next step trigger a deadly rain of metal? You also see a muscular supplicant, a hunch-backed dogmatist and a depressed floor stone.
Obvious exits: northeast, south

Your disk arrives, following you dutifully.

You feel at full magical power again.
You feel fully energetic again.

A hunch-backed dogmatist mutters a harsh rite.

Your injuries hinder your attempt to hide.
Roundtime: 2 sec.
You attempt to blend with the surroundings and feel confident that no one has noticed your doing so.

A muscular supplicant roughly searches the area, seeking out something.
Your injuries hinder your attempts to remain unseen.
The muscular supplicant pauses momentarily, his eyes scanning the area.

A hunch-backed dogmatist waves her hand in a broad arc!
A hunch-backed dogmatist draws a large sign in the air before herself ...

Spirits begin to swirl around a muscular supplicant.
CS: +308 - TD: +220 + CvA: +25 + d100: +20 == +133
Warding failed!
The spirits distract the muscular supplicant's every action.

Spirits begin to swirl around you.
CS: +308 - TD: +208 + CvA: -9 + d100: +65 - -5 == +161
Warding failed!
The spirits distract your every action.

Midgar just arrived.

You are now in an offensive stance.

A hunch-backed dogmatist mutters a harsh rite.

You leap from hiding to attack!
You swing a veniom-hilted falchion at a muscular supplicant!
AS: +351 vs DS: +224 with AvD: +32 + d100 roll: +39 = +198
... and hit for 35 points of damage!
Powerful slash just cracks the muscular supplicant's weapon arm!
The muscular supplicant is stunned!
Roundtime: 6 sec.

Ideas? Input? Facts? Info?

Thanks,

Finis

I believe it's a mass spell.

It's just as intended as 1614 taking people out of hiding and forcing them to kneel. Hiding from my eye doesn't mean my magic can't find you.

Same thing with 635. It's intended.
