The dungeon siege II thread talking about multiplayer reminded me of this Neverwinter's module I'm stumble across like 2 years ago.
It is based on Elanthia and GSIII. I remember checking it out for a day and deciding it sucked. Anyone else know bout it? I'm curious as to who runs it related to GS.
I saw this comment posted from aug 11. HEHEH. Fucking hilarious.
...but the final straw was when a (supposide) dungeonmaster broadcasted in the shout channel that he was displeased that someone had dropped equipment on the ground instead of in a trashcan.
he further displayed his insolence/superiority complex by following with an ultimatum. that anyone who "had questions" or didn't like what he said could meat him in the arena for a fight.
as if transmitting disruptive threats to everyone logged on over trivialities was a perfectly acceptable behavior of a person who's supposed to be running the server.
.....and after that.....instead of repremanding him for his heavy handed and disruptive outburste.....a bunch of spineless psychophantic me-too's cheered him on...
*cringes in disgust* HAHAHAHAHAHHA
but maybe there was more to the game beyond what i experienced?
maybe they just have perpetually insufficient server hardware running on a dial up
