What type's of things are done in this merchant's wagon? Before the rogue, I'd never had a swinging character.

Helps if you're a tiny bit more specific.

Yes, just a tiny bit would help, like is that the wagon with the round things on each corner?

She's referring to Palles's wagon in Ta'Vaalor, though why she wants to know now, when he did his work yesterday night, I'm not sure.

He adds temporary (2000 swings) crit or damage weighting to metal weapons 5x and under with no previous special properties, and he alters weapons. Here's the one I got done. . .

a narrow curved faenor skinning knife
Streaks of faded sage and bright moss green twist through the dark jade-hued metal in a pattern as graceful and unpredictable as the dance of falling leaves. Layers of varnish draw out the rich grains that trace similar swirls across the modwir hilt. The natural beauty of the deep brown wood is interrupted only near the rounded pommel, where closely-set shards of pale haon and ivory form an inlaid feather whose curve mirrors the sweep of the single-edged blade. You also notice a small enchanter's glyph.

Damn, he must've showed up late. Stupid work.

Did it function like the temporary padding? Somewhat weighed?

He showed up sometime between midnight and 1 am, I think.

He offered heavy, decent, and "medium" (whatever that means) weighting. He said it would degrade gradually over the 2000 swings, not vanish all at once at the end. The prices were pretty reasonable -- 240k for heavy weighting on a 5x weapon, 6k for medium weighting on a 0x weapon, if I remember right.

lets see ... about 25-35 swings a hunt ... 2000 swings would last you 60-80 hunts. Some people swing a lot more some people swing a lot less.

id rather have 240k
