The message on healheadnerves is actually inaccurate, I changed it to 20 when that message is reached. If healdown.cmd isn't running, it pauses 10 seconds and checks for head and nerve scars again. This is to prevent loss of experience absorption due to those scars.

I have one but I'm not very savvy when it comes to all of these "engines". I need a method to be able to use the healing scripts and then also use my regular .cmd...I'm sure there's a simple answer.

I forget how it was done, but you could change the way you start Jamus's scripts to /scriptname and run regular CMDs with .scriptname.

hectomaner

yeah, you change it so any non JSE scripts, you do /scriptname

then the JSE scripts take .scriptname

TheRoseLady

So, I need to move all my scripts into the script folder, JSE and the .cmd ones?

i'm a newb so, help me out with something here. Do you have to put in a %1 like we do in wizard like .autothank (person name)? for the $person$ or does it just know the first name of the sentence is $person$ and saves it for when it goes onto .thankyou ?

#autothank.Cmd

loop:
set number 0
matchbool ok $person$ just gave you $number$ coins which you quickly pocket.
matchbool ok $person$ offers you a
matchwait

No.

See where it says "$person$"? The SE extracts the person's name into a variable to use to thank them. You don't need to input anything.

I've been looking for a good healing script for a while, although I'm not quite sure how often I would use it as I like at times to just manually heal them down for the interaction purpose. However, that script has gained a lot of recognition and it seems very cool. Nice job, Bob, appreciate you giving it out.

Only thing is? I don't have JSE hehe. Don't have any clue where to get it (unless it's part of PsiNet in that case, doh I'm dumb cause I didn't know it was there). Anyone feel like sharing?

Bob put a link to the JSE recently:

<<I need a method to be able to use the healing scripts and then also use my regular .cmd...I'm sure there's a simple answer.>>

If you download the entire contents of the Engine folder on my filefarmer account (Latrinsorm posted a link to the thread above this one), Instructions.txt tells you how to do this.

<<So, I need to move all my scripts into the script folder, JSE and the .cmd ones?>>

Every script you have should be in the same folder, no matter what kind of script it is. The only time that should change is if you move engine scripts to their own folder and change engine.ini to reflect this. This is a bad idea if you don't know what you're doing.

<<i'm a newb so, help me out with something here. Do you have to put in a %1 like we do in wizard like .autothank (person name)? for the $person$ or does it just know the first name of the sentence is $person$ and saves it for when it goes onto .thankyou ?>>

The entire purpose of autothank is you never have to type anything to thank someone. Until you end the script, every time someone hands you coins or offers an item, you will instantly smile at them, run thankyou.cmd, and accept/stow the item if there is one. It's very convenient for healing in Town Square.

<<Only thing is? I don't have JSE hehe. Don't have any clue where to get it (unless it's part of PsiNet in that case, doh I'm dumb cause I didn't know it was there). Anyone feel like sharing?>>

Okay one more question and it's probably a dumb one, but will the scripting engine only work in Wizard FE? I use Stormfront so I don't want to mess with all this if it's not compatible. If it is compatible with SF, do I still install it the same way? (creating the new file, moving launchers in Wizard etc.)

Bit of a nifty bump, anyone happen to still have these scripts and willing to send them my way? Apparently we lost all attached stuff in the move.
