Kinda cute. Depends on your Halloween aims, I suppose. I'd go for something that'd make people think something was wrong. I'd also darken the backgrounds in general.

Well I made the backgrounds black, but I don't really know what to do on the pages you know? It looks so cluttered..

Maybe remove some of the lists and such in favor of image maps? Use some "evil" images for folks to click on?

Ok I'm really really nit picky when it comes to web pages. Sorry in advance.


Just some notes:

Photoshop can work wonders on menus, especially when using image maps. They create splices easily and do rollovers and stuff. It can create nice effects.

I'm not sure how much of the layout you actually did yourself (be it programming or Dreamweaver or something), but you did a great job at incoorporating your artwork (which is rather nice, I'll admit) with the design. :thumbsup:

On your portraits page, consider making the thumbnails smaller, if not more proportional.

Same goes for the Pictures page.

On the weddings page, try making the image a bit smaller. Overpowering images at the top of the page aren't a great idea, design-wise. It's a great drawing! Just too big for the beginning of a web page. A darker color for the text on that page wouldn't hurt either.

The Deities page could do with slightly more organization. And the current "Dieties" title image doesn't match the color scheme very well.

The Tales page has too much unused white space to be an effective page. The scrolling bit is neat, but an image or two, or just some color would help a lot.

As for the halloween theme, the colors work great. The music is neat too at the first page. The scrolling across the top of the main page (the link you posted) could go a bit faster.

I admit it after looking at your pictures I got the hots for your one friend who is wearing the Nirvana shirt. Nirvana meant so much to me when I was growing up.
