Avalon scripting

My Friend, unfortunately, has a Mac and is running Avalon to get into the game. They say they can't even get a script to run, it only allows them to record their own, and they're going insane over it.

Anyone know about scripting with Avalon, or can suggest a better/easier to use interface for Mac?
