What to Hunt?

Anyone got any ideas on what I should be hunting and with what spells at level 26? I tried cyclops' but they seemed a bit too hard (as in they'd take alot of mana to kill and I'd need all my spells up to have an adequate DS against them).

My 26 mage hunts in Pookas without an issue of mana. However I should note that this is with a group of others, at least 2, so that she only needs to hit a pooka 2 times or so to gain enough experience to consider it worth it. She just uses acid so it's not mana intensive.

go hunt fenghi in haven, hell even cent's on the lake. Teras the jungle trolls are good too.

Moanin spirits if you dont like Pookas. But Pookas should be decent exp - but crappy treasure (almost non-exisitant).

If you want something rich, Spectral warriors were rich in RR when I hunted them. I can't remember if their plate sold 1k or 500 coins...I just remember we would fill our disks up with them. They dropped tons of gems/boxes and had nice coin.

arctic manticores and tundra giants, in Icemule. My wizard hunted there between 25-30, easily.
906 em, and leech the giants, not the manticores.

True I have another 26 wizard who hunts in manticores and giants in Mule as well. It's a bit mana intensive but if you get a group of at least 2 others with you you'll be fine. And they have pretty decent loot. Lots of boxes and decent coins on looting.

If you want to train fast... Go to pookas, wait for a swarm, ewave then cone... you'll fry quickly.
