That being said I don't know if GS is in a state of decline. I hardly take notice, it still lets me play, I still have fun, and it still is a haven for people that have 5 accounts, lie about who they are because they are nutjobs but they love teh boyfriend OMG every other post. Plus GS r help me withe my hor0rs spellign.

One day I won't be able to log in, I'll be sad for a minute or two, and I'll move on.

So here, feel free to show my posts from other threads with spelling errors. You can also talk about how much I love my boyfriend…because well I do. You can bash on me as much as you wish. But let’s keep topics on topic by doing it here, and not there.

People can ignore threads a million more times easier then posts that are off topic or dumb. Let’s not make others suffer by our bickering. I've been fine with others who say things off topic once in a while, but everywhere I turn, there you are!

I'm a supermod, so as a consequence every folder is technically my folder. Moving it would not prevent me stopping it. I couldn't care less if its on topic, I still don't want threads made purely to bash others. If you have a problem with Anticors posts, report them or U2U myself, one of the other supermods or Harmnone. This is not necessary.

Oddly enough there have been many many threads made in the past just for the purpose of bashing folks. Just to name a few, Xcalibur, She-who-shall-not-be-named and her man, JD, TOJ, Stainley and a few others I'm sure. While I don't particularly like those threads, they were made and allowed to stay. :shrug: Interesting.

Newsflash: Part of that "second chance" is putting up with the people who will pick apart your every post and even find a way to bash you on-topic. Want to make a claim about honors classes? Someone will make fun of you. Want to talk about your GemStone woes? Someone will laugh at you.

It will probably die down soon, but take your licks while they last - IMO, you deserve them. One way to not behave like your old self would be to stop making attention whoring oh-poor-me threads like this one.

The easiest way to deal with the bashing... is not to respond to it at all.
If you don't fan the flame, it'll eventually snuff itself out. People will hopefully get tired of saying and/or hearing the same thing over and over and over... And if they don't- fuck it. Keep not acknowledging it-don't reply to it. Let the mods deal with the off-topic bashing should you decide to report it, and post along your merry way.

Making a thread for it saying it's for the benefit of eveyone to have it all in one place... doesn't solve any kind of problem. It won't stop the bashing happening in other threads, and you just created another thing to be picked on for. So put away the kerosene and ignore those who for whatever reason won't ignore you, even though they don't care for you.
