Hi,

I'm no expert on bards, but I can tell you how I've trained mine--it might be useful to you, because she's half-elven too and just a little bit older:

My sense with her at this level is that training is really about focusing on a few skills and making some sacrifices. You'll notice that she doesn't train in a lot of the skills that you do (no hiding, ambushing, trading, thieving, box picking, or even survival). She does fine without any of that--though sometimes I wish she had a bit of mana control (if she did, though, I'd make it all elemental). Looking at your training plan, I wonder if you've spread yourself too thin--you can do a lot of things, but do you do them well? I really don't know, that's just what occurs to me.

She has overemphasized armor a bit, because I wanted to get rid of the spell hinderance for brig, which she's been wearing for a long time now. I'll be happy when I can even armor out to 1x/level, but I don't regret the sacrified TPs for now. She also has a lot of MOC, and I like that. She's never really seemed like a hide/ambush type to me, so I don't try to play her that way, and the MOC gives her an edge and allows her to hunt swarms. The other big difference is lores--I have faith that they're helping me somehow, so I've dumped a lot of TPs into them. You might want to look into that. Again, I decided to focus on a couple lores, and let the others go.

Anyway, like I said, I'm not an expert. That's just what I do, and if it helps you, great--and if not, oh well.

Appreciate the info. When I started about ohhh 5 or 6 years ago I was shooting from the hip. I can probably down some skills and up a couple others.

Will try it and see what happens.
