Anticor, I have paypal, by the way. ;)

AnticorRifling
08-10-2005, 12:00 AM
I don't mind paying my subscription fee but that's where cash for text stops for me. Otherwise I would just because I want an eahnor breastplate for the rogue. Enchant doesn't matter as I could get it to 7x which is why I probably won't bid on this one. It's perfect, silver tassets match the theme for him too but the price is too steep for something I can make protection wise heh.

allen

A venerable crimson eahnor shield (rare, from Foehns promise, awesome loresong, +18, 69/215, 7 lbs, unconverted, very rare, may have been only a couple taken)
750k Uniana

Anyone able to tell me if this is further enchantable?

allen
08-10-2005, 09:22 AM
Ok, the bids are going to go...Initial bid, Twice, Thrice, Sold. Originally I was going to update once a day, but since I'm getting so many e-mails and IM's of people going back and forth on items, I'm going to wait until that slows down before I start calling. Might even be tonight, depends on how it goes, but just wanted everyone to know how I'm doing it, I think I'll do the updates 9pm EST every night, convenient for everyone. Thanks.

I'm interested in a few things but I don't make offers. If someone bids on it though I may outbid them.

AnticorRifling
08-10-2005, 04:49 PM
Is this thread called "sale" or "Please feel free to give your personal views on making an offer or bid when no one gives a rusty shit?"

I'm just asking because I can't remember.

GSLady17
08-10-2005, 04:51 PM
Actually seeing what he would say, usually people will offer what they are willing to get for something if someone wants it. All depends on how desperate he is to sell it.

allen
08-10-2005, 04:58 PM
I can tell you I am not desperate at all to sell anything. As a matter of fact, some of these items won't even sell, if the bid that's on them doesn't go up. I'm just getting a feel of what I can get.

Axhinde
08-10-2005, 04:59 PM
So "you don't bid", but "will outbid if someone else bids"? The hell is your problem? You didn't want it in the first place if you don't bid, though you're willing to hinder someone who does want the item by outbidding them, because you don't bid. Right.

Mmmmmm....I don't make offers.

I don't know how much things are worth and probably would end up spending tons more then it is actually worth. But if someone does bid, then I know what it is worth.

Like with the shop in the landing that I bid on... First Bid was 2 mill. Then I looked it up and saw they were going for 5 million and felt bad so I raised my own bid.

There have been times I was desperate to sell things. Depends on how much locker space I have.

Bid what you feel it's worth. Forget about what the going amount is. Figure out yourself what you feel it's worth. Personally I hope the bidding is left personally. This price is right game display here is rather sad.

allen
08-10-2005, 05:05 PM
Well, if you tell me what item you're interested in maybe I can give you a price range. Landing Shops are worth more than 5m.

Does the "elven infantry harness" show either a polearm or runestaff poking out of it? If so, I'll bid

allen
08-15-2005, 11:35 PM
Yes.

allen
08-16-2005, 12:18 AM
Example: an elven infantry harness with an iron-tipped paladin's warlance poking high overhead...Is what they see when they look at you, remember it's backworn.

*** carefully unlimbers his warlance from his harness.

*** carefully slips his warlance inside the harness. Since it is not large enough to hold the warlance, the remaining part protrudes far over Expoz's shoulder.

Please tell me after the time you took to blank to name out that you purposefully made that say Expoz's.

It's clever, I just hope it wasn't a mistake.

Actually, it was a mistake, it was late last night. I'd suggest if you're going to correct someone atleast use proper grammar so you don't look like an asshole, thanks.

Who's correcting? I really, really thought you had made it clever on purpose. Expoz's = exposed, which is what the harness does to the right items put inside it.

My mistake for thinking more of it than a simple error.
