My plan is to laugh at the idiots buying Madden while I'm kicking super ass in my 3rd Dynasty season of NCAA with the Auburn Football Tigers.

Eh with the superstar mode and ability to import your players and get higher draft stock by having created them in madden, it's actually pretty cool.

Yea. "Auburn Football Tigers" has been around since before Pat Dye was coaching. No idea who started, but it was probably the radio dude that did our games for like 30 years.
Edited because his name came to me: Jim Fyffe.

I don't have time for both WoW and Madden unfortunately. But I hear the new passing system is tough.
Post your thoughts once you've played the game.

I saw it on an add it looks real hard for how fast paced the game is i hope you can play in 2005 passing style.

I just took a look at some clips of the new madden... does it REQUIRE you to move the passing vision field around to pass? Like you can't pass to a receiver unless he's within the field of vision?

Dear Keller,
Hiding behind WoW will not save you from my wrath. I look forward to kicking off the New Year by feeding you a nice big spoonful of whoop ass.

"It's all about having it first," says Vic Turner, 33, who lives in District Heights, Md. "I called in sick for tomorrow. Don't go saying it too loud. I work really close to here."
Think his boss read the article?

The passing system is tough, especially against the computer since they don't have any trouble looking around etc, while it's not second nature to us yet. I think it'll be really good for when playing other people, it's a realistic addition to the game to stop people from using Vick, going spread offense, sprinting left and hitting Dunn or Price 80 yards downfield on the right sideline with a throw accross his body...

No, it doesn't require it. If you don't throw it to someone in your vision it just doesn't have the same accuracy (and I think maybe less power).
In instances where Westbrook is running a swing left and the linebacker blitzes and he's all alone, I've thrown it with the field of vision all the way to the right and it's good enough to be caught.

Just glad I have a friend who works for EA Sports.. so I don't have to pay full retail for it.

if you're not looking at the wr then it's based on the route so if the reciever is where he's supposed to be you can still hit him, but if there is a defender in the area it's highly likely a pick off or batted down will happen, or if reciever has been 'bumped' you'll throw it wide etc.

Buddy of mine buys it every other year. 2001, 2003, 2005. So I guess he's passing.
Myself, I bought 2001 because it was one of the few games that were out the day the PS2 came out that seemed somewhat appealing.
