[Temple Wyneb, Calvaria]
The fresh air whistling into the room from some hidden source makes you realize just how stifling the atmosphere has been in these tomblike caverns. This might also be how the bats escape at night to hunt. You also see an emaciated hierophant.
Obvious exits: north, southwest
>
Your disk arrives, following you dutifully.
>
Roundtime: 2 sec.
Roundtime changed to 1 second.
You attempt to blend with the surroundings and feel confident that no one has noticed your doing so.
HR>
...wait 1 seconds.
HR>
An emaciated hierophant quickly performs a thorough search, seeking something.
The emaciated hierophant pauses momentarily, his eyes scanning the area.
H>
You focus deep within yourself, searching for untapped sources of strength.
You feel a great deal stronger.
H>stance offensive
You are now in an offensive stance.
H>
Brikus just arrived.
H>
You leap from hiding to attack!
You swing a veniom-hilted falchion at an emaciated hierophant!
AS: +393 vs DS: +214 with AvD: +32 + d100 roll: +23 = +234
... and hit for 67 points of damage!
Awful slash nearly decapitates the emaciated hierophant!
That's one way to lose your head.
An emaciated hierophant drops to the floor, quite dead!
The very powerful look leaves an emaciated hierophant.
The white light leaves an emaciated hierophant.
The deep blue glow leaves an emaciated hierophant.
An emaciated hierophant seems to lose an aura of confidence.
An emaciated hierophant seems to lose some dexterity.
An emaciated hierophant appears less powerful.
The air about an emaciated hierophant stops shimmering.
The light blue glow leaves an emaciated hierophant.
Roundtime: 6 sec.
Roundtime changed to 3 seconds.
R>
Brikus searches an emaciated hierophant.
Brikus gathers the remaining coins.
Hundreds of insects suddenly swarm, devouring the emaciated hierophant.
R>
Brikus slings an assassin crested tower shield over his shoulder.
R>
You notice that things have returned to their normal speed.
>
Brikus picks up a piece of amber.
>
Brikus put a piece of amber in his black leather backpack.
>
Brikus slings an assassin crested tower shield off from over his shoulder.
>
Brikus just went southwest.

That is ALL!

Kill him, and set your loot to only allow you to search something.

<<Who the hell picks up pieces of amber?!>>
Someone who has a script to autoloot any item and adds worthless ones to a discard list instead of picking up pre-defined items.

DUH! Thanks Stray.

Outstanding, I get to look forward to him doing that in the tower soon. He'll do it once to me. If I'm in a good mood I'll just kill him outright. If I'm in a bad mood I'll leg him and let a goleras curse his shit.

I do.
I pick up every gem and check for recharges. The last 3 recharges I found were crap gems like that.

Heh, I used to pick up every gem too, no matter how worthless. I was a typical pack rat. They add up nicely when you least expect it. It worked fine when you were under 10 levels, not sure why it should be different later. May not be much to some, but every little silver counts.
But yeah, I agree that his script was way too simple. I only used scripts that would check for someone in the room before doing anything anyway.

Last one I found was crap too, but if you turn it into jewelry, it's not so junky.
To Reply to the whole Script hunting, Obviously the guy was AFK. I don't support script hunting like that.

obviously you are an idiot and dont know how scripts work. here is how it worked.
brikus comes in. script checks and sees a hierophant. script then looks for anyone in the room. hierophant dies, script catches that. script makes brikus search and loot it.
that does not show AFK at all. it just shows how much he sucks at scripting

He was either bad at scripting and a jackass, or he was AFK.
IF I made a script that did something like that and I saw that happen, I would go back and apologize and give them a gem worth more plus the one I took.

Hence the title of this thread. It's a bad script...Holy shit you are retarded.

Oh shut up. Any AFK scripting is a bad script in my opinion.
I know how the script works.

Actually you did something very similar to that to me in the tower when I was hiding (with a disk present) and then killed my target. You did, however, drop a few gems after giggleing in recompense which was appreciated. Even though you didnt acknowledge me with any manner of verbal speech, other than the giggle, when I called you on it.

Any AFK scripting (the act of) is a bad script (an item).....
AFK scripting is bad.
The script is bad.
AFK scripting != a bad script.
You seeing the difference yet? The script itself is poorly written. The practice of using a poorly written script might be bad, AFK scripting might be bad, but AFK scripting does not make a script bad (as in written poorly).

I do.
I have been since the command to sell the contents of a whole container to the gem dealer came in. I dont care if its a 20 silver amber or a 6000 silver uncut. It isnt a lot of effort since I grab by script anyway.

I then also highlighted your name in red. Thank you, Now I remember why yo uare in red.
It was because of the way you addressed me that I chose not to stick around and have you yell at me.
The way I hunt, is I see a critter in a room, hide, sneak over and kill it.
With haste, one second to hide, one second to sneak . Very Very rare that someone enters that room in those two seconds. People do it to me all the time and I just walk out without saying anything.
But you are in red now, shouldn't happen again.

Someone has to be in red so you don't poach?
GSLady17

No.
When they hide though, it is harder to see them when you are with haste and run in there and swing as fast as you can and then move on as to not waste the haste.

Teeo also mstrikes very well and shares mana. Because of how her points are, right now she is making up for hiding, most would get at younger trains by training around 4 times in it.
She has a certain level goal to achieve something. I can hide from shricken half the time, usually have to sneak though. I can hide from the other things in the tower easy though.

Heh, wait til she hits OTF. She won't be able to hide worth a damn.

She can hide from the scouts and such. Plus, she can open ambush very well, one hit in the head and she can hide.

Not putting in a disk check doesn't make someone a fucking moron. Let's have some perspective here.
LOL, Teeoncy has been in red on my screens for about 2 years. Ever since I've witnessed her antics at the statue, at the park, and most recently on the dais. You will rarely have any interaction with me unless it involves me directly.
As for how he behaved towards you, he just called your name and made you aware that he was hiding and there was a disk in the room signifying someone might be there. A simple apology would have been sufficient rather than giggeling, dropping a few gems, and then running off. The gems were nice but not necessary. The addressing you was to endsure you werent scripting. And he remained hidden because if no response was given then the next act would have been putting a waraxe in your forehead for poaching and refusal to acknowledge.

Uhm, for someone you don't care anything about, some of you sure do spend a lot of energy on her.... just an observation...
Happy Hunting!- I don't script hunt... therefore any accidental kill I make is all contributable to being inattentive and careless. Boy, that's so much easier!
damn spelling,...
