I was wondering where people hunted, how much they made, what they have found to be richer then others etc.

I hunted spectral warriors in RR and those were really rich but that was years ago.

The barrier is rich, but I learn in the tower, can use haste, AND walk around without my shield out so the treasure goes right to my hand.

So I hunt in the tower and Yesterday this is what I made without even hunting the whole day.

In Gems.

black opal, a piece of onyx, a piece of banded onyx, a thin blue diamond ring and a gold ring.

As you can see, towards the top, I have the jewelery.

Things are in somewhat order because I sang to it all. Tons of orb gems, but I just sell those. So keep in mind everything has been sung too, improved, and sold be an elf who is a citizen.

You ask the jeweler Tanzania if she would like to buy the contents of your golden silk robe.
Tanzania takes the golden silk robe, inspects the contents carefully, and removes the gems she is interested in. She hands it back to you and says, "I don't have that much spare silver, I will have to give you a City-States promissory note for it."

Tanzania then places a note for 706947, minus a small 1415 silver surcharge, in your golden silk robe and returns it to you.

Here is just the jewelery alone:

In the golden silk robe you see a City-States promissory note, a topaz-inset silver chalice, an elegant silver medallion, a trilliant-cut dragonfire opal medallion, a bone-inlaid pink topaz medallion, an oval-cut bloodjewel ring, a granite Ivas figurine, a tooled emerald pendant, a topaz-inset gold alloy bracer, a bejewelled gnoll miniature, an alexandrite studded ora neckchain, an onyx-inlaid amethyst necklace, a rune-etched gold earcuff, an onyx Gosaena sculpture, a filigreed ora armband, an engraved gold orb, a coral inset silver pin, a smoky topaz studded gold ewer, a turquoise inset platinum flask, a smooth stone, a thin blue diamond ring and a gold ring.

Many had spells in them and many were blank imbeds but the spells sucked so I just sell them all. Gold ring's not supposed to be in there---I keep those. Found 7. Oh and the thin diamond ring was a tip, guess it's piercing jewelery. So those I didn't sell.

But all that sold for Silver: 133623

and then there was also a note.

She then hands you a City-States promissory note for 20081, minus a small 42 silver surcharge.

The pawnshop stuff I don't sell all at once but I keep the coins on a character so I can keep track. If I count all the coins from creatures, boxes, and pawnshop items, I total Silver: 326000

Could have been more, but sometimes I use coins on that character to pay locker fines, fix broken picks (which I had two of yesterday) tipping, etc.

I also don't sell scarabs I collect them. Tower boxes have TONS of those.

And then I'd factor in 100k for picking and healing tips that I didn't get hunting that was mixed with gems and coins so I don't know how much I really made with that.

So if we add it up, yesterday, I made 1186651 silvers.

I'm a box whore though.

You make that much with one character or with an empath in tow?

I was making about 20-30k a hunt in Teras fighting in the flats. (Fire Giants, Ash Hags, etc). The only problem with fighting there is the environment can knock you down and in some cases, kill you. And the trolls tackle. But everything is soft-skinned except for the ogres, allowing you to ram a mere dagger in their eye easily, dropping them.

Where is this 'barrier' you all speak of, by the way? I'm not familiar with it, surprisingly enough...

Where in the EN? I am intrigued.

The Barrier is Old Ta'Faendryl (OTF) the hunting area in Illistim for 80+ level characters to capped. Yes the treasure there is sick if thats your MO. I've noticed that the treasure system in the tower was refreshed sometime this weekend because the past few days its been very rich hunting there; whereas normally its about half that. It will be on a decline until the next refresh though, but its nice knowing that eventually it will be refreshed.

It's certainly better than the dais in Ta'Illistim. At least most everyone is civil. Not everyone sleeps all the time.

From my experience, Ganalon, the treasure depends on what time of day you hunt too.

When I was able to pull morning hunting off, there were tons of rock drops and boxes. When I got on at night, it blew pretty hard. Noticed the trend and kept to day hunting for a few weeks.

I make about 100k per hunt in OTF. But I can pick my own boxes and my seller is an elf and has 200 ranks of trade, wheeee!

Roa'ters are always good for cash hunting.
