So yeah, the topic says it all. I have another 40 minutes till im pretty much done for the week. Of the 8 people who work in my office 1 is in Boston, 2 are in New York, 1 is in Louisiana(I think) and 2 are in Mass. I finished all of my work that was assigned and all of my prep work for my trip so I have been doing nothing for the last 2 hours. Tomorrow I have to drive to upstate New York for work where I will remain until friday.

I have not slept in my own bed since last tuesday night and all I want is a weekend where I have to do absolutely nothing. Oh, and I am being sent back up to New York next week as well for another 4 day stretch.

edit: oh, and my car got towed last week while I was gone for god knows what reason. I was parked on the premesis of my apartment complex and my car is registered in the city so there was no real reason behind it. Now I have to find a ride over to the tow fuckers and pay them $150 for taking my car from my parking space.

I'm bored too, it's been a slow week. Yay for internet access at my desk!

Also, Elrodin, why should you have to pay them for illegally towing your car? Call the cops. Towing companies have been known to do that to make money of the poor saps who will just cough up the cash and not ask any questions. If you were rightfully there, they STOLE your car.

We get internet access (browsing capability) on an as needed basis at my job. I need access to three different hospitals patient systems. The only way to make them work seemlessly is to let me go through the corporate gateway. One needs a firewall, one won't work with a firewall have to use Citrix etc ad nauseum. So they set me up, I have to just to forget that I have access and resist all temptations to come here while I'm at work.

They monitor internet activity. I hate people who can surf without fear of reprisal.

I am headed to Albany and the surrounding area.

I asked for the documentation on why my car was towed and if it was truely without reason I will get ahold of the apartment video's of the parking lot to show my car was illegally towed. If it should not have been towed I will be at the cops but damn its a hassle.

TRL, use the google webpage translator. When the company techs monitor your activity they will only see google while you are surfing to your hearts content.

So there is a little ray of sun shining down on me today apparently. I call the tow service and they tell me there will be someone to open the gate for me in a few minutes. The guy arrives and we start talking and it turns out he is a Temple Grad from the engineering school, which is where I am in my Junior year now. So after some more talk he ends up waiving the fee(he owns the tow company, said he makes more with it then he did engineering).

The best part is when I get back to my apartment parking lot im looking around the car and I notice a half smoked blunt from before I went on vacation. Will my night get any better? doubt it.
