truffles

Im trying to do this katana quest or trying to help someone do it really . What do i do with these truffles at the shrine and do i have to do something before i do what i need to do with the truffles.
i saw i need 6 of each im not sure how many differnt kind there are

i just stuck a buncha in the shrine i got this message once the rest burned.

You feel a slight tingle pass through your fingers as you place your truffle in the shrine.
You put a black truffle in a small carved stone shrine.

Basically you have to place them in a special order which is your password. When you get that message, it means you're going good so far. So like, if you put a black in and it tingles, then first position is black. If you then put a white in and it tingles, second position is white. If you put in a wrinkled one next and it burns, then you know wrinkled isn't going to be third position and you get to start over again.

You can leave and come back, your password stays the same. I don't recall off the top of my head...enough to be a pain in the ass, but not a huge amount.

your password is a total of three truffles. Just have to find the right combination. It may even be three of the same truffle, or two of one and one of another, or three different. Did it a long time ago. Good luck.
