How do the people who quit GS and stay off it do it? I mean yeah I can leave GS for 6 months a time and I have before but I always end up back there. It's like some kinda cocaine. Is there a support group I can join?Perhaps even some medicated injection that would instantly tighten my balls up and incapacitate me when I try to log on to GS?Or better yet some type of new online virus that would instantly send me the Blue screen of death on windows everything I log on? I need help BADLY!! HARMNONE you did it and Edaarin you too!..SHARE THE WEALTH OF INFO!!!

it's called enjoying real life. that keeps you away from GS

I never really had a problem staying away. I left because I no longer enjoyed the game, so there was no desire to return. I often remember the good times, and the good people my characters and I knew there. However, I prefer to keep those memories happy ones, and to avoid having them sullied by the environment that exists in today's Elanthia.
I think a lot depends on why you quit, why you played, and what else you have to do with your life. I have plenty of other things to interest me. I really don't need GemStone.

seem San JOSE California is good only for money making since we got NOTHING here to interest me...The Clubbing seen here is filled with alot of females who shouldn't wear tight dresses and make up that look like Hookers..and GOD DAMN THOSE EMOS!!!!!!!!so my only options left is either I find a Tennis Partner really quick...Or I'll turn to gambling...lol

 As long as I'm single, I'm probably stuck with GS.
When I dated last fall, I was rarely around GS.
When we broke up, first place I went was GS to pass the time. And dust off poor neglected Ent.
So umm... find someone to spend all your time with, who equally likes to spend all their time with you

In there lies my dilema, I stopped playing about 8 years ago because of another half. Started up again a year ago, because of the same other half. Finding someone is not always the answer.
Keep playing. It is a nice way to vent frustration without going postal.
Plus, nobody likes a quitter.

LOL Goretawn. I'm glad your back for one :P. Playing gemstone isn't the problem as long as you don't say no or avoid doing any real life social stuff... Like as soon as the sun goes down enough to not kill my sunburn I'll be at the lake swimming :).
Sex> swimming > Gemstone

I quit over a year ago. My advice? Join a support group.
Hello, my name is Tisket and I am a recovering GS player...

Guild wars seems pretty decent. I'm up in the air about the way they instance everything out of town, though. I play MMORPGs to see other people, not just masturbate in the wilds.
