This is the next town over from me..scary stuff. So bad it made CNN.:(
How someone could pretend to be afraid like this guy did and go back and shoot a man who has a 8 month old daughter in his arms is beyond me..:(

First, thank goodness that the baby wasn't harmed. Sadly, then you realize that s/he was harmed in one of the worst ways possible. His/her daddy is now gone. :(
I can't fathom the kind of person who shoots at someone with a baby in their arms, just very disturbed and disturbing.

<<"He said his wife was scared, and he said he was angry at that encounter," Cruz said of Bishop. "He said he made up his mind right there that he had to do something.">>
No idea where you got the "pretended to be scared" part...
I don't know who's sicker, the guy picking a fight with a 60 year old or the psycho busting 4 in the asshole. The real loser here was the child who is now fatherless and will likely have some subconscious psychological trauma from this shit.

In the papers here they told more of the story. They said the man dropped off his wife at the train station, then went over and shot him.
Scared? If you are so freaking scared..go home and stay there, don't go back and kill the guy. Not to mention his defense attorney is probably telling him to say he was scared..
From the Patriot Ledger, a local paper here:
Witnesses said Andrade was shot to death as he was taking his 9-month-old daughter, Alexandra, out of his maroon Isuzu Rodeo in front of Employment 2000, an employment agency at 1008 Main St.
The baby was covered in her father's blood but was not injured.
According to the prosecutor and court papers, Bishop was driving his wife, Barbara, to the Campello MBTA station to catch a 7:37 a.m. train when he saw a red SUV backing down the street toward him on East Market Street.
Bishop said he slammed on his brakes, the other driver backed up next to him and began swearing at him, according to a report filed in court by Detective Michael V. Damiano.
While Mrs. Bishop was "terrified" by the encounter, Bishop said he was "furiously angry" and sped away, according to court papers.
Bishop said he dropped off his wife at the train station and a few minutes later saw the victim on Main Street.
He said he saw the SUV about three vehicles ahead of him in the northbound lane. Bishop told police it pulled over and the driver got out, Freeman told the court.
Bishop told police he drove past Andrade, turned around in a parking lot and drove back while pulling a gun out of his pants pocket.
He told police he swerved onto the wrong side of the road, passed Andrade's car, then backed up and fired three shots over his left shoulder, Freeman told the court.
Brockton Police Chief Paul Studenski said Bishop had a license to carry a gun.
Bishop's attorney, Kevin Reddington, said his client felt threatened by Andrade during the earlier altercation and believes Bishop has a "very significant defense."
Arguing Bishop should be released in lieu of $100,000 cash bail, Reddington said the shooting was out of character for his client and the Bishop family is "horrified by the circumstances that brought him here today."
Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy J. Cruz said the suspect "shot a man in cold blood" who was "going about his daily business."
Brockton and state police detectives examined Bishop's silver Blazer, which was found parked at his Bouve Avenue home, after the slaying and found damage to the vehicle.
Authorities, armed with a search warrant, also seized at least one weapon from the house.

I think at this point it's pretty understandable for old lady with old husband to be scared, and old husband with old wife to be angry at his impotence.
I'd say his reaction was out of line, but I think that might be kind of an understatement.

What does being military have to do with anything. I am in the Army and do not go around shooting people just because they scared my wife a little. That statment just shows how simple minded people can be.
The guy was just plain wrong. Having taken his wife to the train station after the altercation, then going back, finding the guy and shoot him is called permeditated and there is no defense. The fucker should be drawn and quartered. Then at least half of his insurance and social security should be put into a trust fund for that child.

What Makkah said.
Fucked up on both ends.

Considering his age, I have to wonder if he isn't suffering from some form of dementia; perhaps, early Altzheimer's that hasn't yet been diagnosed. Sounds like he's lost his ability to make sound judgements, and this was really a horrible thing to do.

People in the military are trained to killed other people. People in the military only know how to kill people. This is the main reason I stay away from Bisco.

Wow, if ignorance is bliss, you must be one of the most blissful person I have ever met.
How many millions of tons of humanitarian aide has the U.S. Armed Forces distributed just this year. Check out JTF-FA (Joint Task Force - Full Accounting). They are an archaeological unit devoted to finding the remains of unaccounted personnel throughout the world so they can be laid to rest and give their family peace of mind. We are not just a bunch of killers pushed into a direction to kill everything.
Currently serving in Iraq, I see the the US is one of the biggest employers of Iraqi people. Hence we are improving their economy.
Such a general statement for the force that protects your every waking and sleeping hour is insulting. Of course, that is why we are there, so ignorant people like you can make statements to prove how simple minded some can be.
Majority of the military now also have or are working on their degree. They are schooled and trained to do anything you could ever imagine, but they decided the defence of our nation is more important then making a few extra dollars.
