Since every post of mine is taken in their violation thread about me, I'm definitively on their black list and they new pseudo-law allow them to do so.

Well.. If X gets banned it's fine by me.. As long as it is done by the demerit system. I do not now, nor will I ever, support a HM policy. I think of it this way.. If he takes a break from posting or not breaking policy, then it is like a mini-ban anyway, just it is self imposed.

Regardless, I think we all need to put personal feelings aside that we might have against Xcalibur and ban him based on the regulations of this boards, not some arbitrary unmeasurable system.

my reasoning for wanting Xcalibur to be banned is due to the opinion I have as do many others that he doesn't contribute to these forums but rather detracts from it. It has nothing to do with my like or dislike of him at all.

Case in point, I dislike Bob however he contributes to these forums and so I wouldn't like to see him banned. Yes, there are times that I feel he detracts from them as well but the contributions he makes far outweigh those. Unfortunately, with X, I don't see any contributions that he makes and if he does I'm fairly certain that his detractions outweigh them.

Eh, I'm not going to pretend to be an expert on the why's and why nots of people disliking Xcalibur or why people may more may not want him banned. I'm sure everyone has their own reasons, but hey.. If it's done fairly.. It's done fairly. Xcalibur contributes in his own way and as far as I've seen, in the past, he's never broken policy enough to warrant a ban.

The only way anybody will ever be banned is by basing the ban on the regulations of the boards.

Even the HMP policy has always been there. The Administrator can ban a poster for ANY reason. That's in TOS. All my explanation of HMP did is clarify what actions MIGHT bring about the use of that clause. So far, it hasn't been used, unless Kranar used it before...which is possible.
