View Full Version : Threads not bringing up the last page automatically.

This is the second time it's happened (two different threads) so I thought I'd bring it up.

I read the picture post thread a little earlier. On Today's Posts it showed Backlash was the last post. I clicked on page 339 (where it says "Pages: 1 2 3 .. 339) and it brought up the thread on page 339 and Backlash was the last post. No problem.

Just now, I'm on Today's Posts again. I see that Latrin has posted in that thread. Again the thread name on "Today's posts" reads "Pages: 1 2 3 .. 339".

I click on 339 again, and the last post is Backlash's post I've already seen. At the bottom of the page it informs me that there is a page 340. I click on 340 and it brings up Latrin's post.

But on Today's posts (where it said Latrin was the last person to post in the thread) it didn't list page 340.

Just a heads up.

It's the same bug as the "-2 posts" bug. Because the PC thinks the thread has 2 posts less than it actually does, when the next page just gets started (even with a post as awesome as mine) the PC doesn't realize there's another page. If you had your posts per page at 30, you probably wouldn't see it (but it might be a quirk of the math that you do, I'm not going to work it out now).

FYI the other thread I noticed was the "V A" thread in the mod folder. Anticor's post is on page 120, but the thread title on "Today's posts" only shows 119 pages (though it shows Anticor as the last person to post)

Thanks Latrin. Bumped it from 25 to 30, looks like it's working so far.

I just do 50 posts a page, less clicking.
