So I have the Vtech Cordless phone. It has a smattering of popular songs for ringtones. Anyways I made the Bond theme a special ring so I know when my mother is trying to call. And now whenever I hear the ringtone or watch Bond Movies I get angry and a little bitter.
Has anyone else ever ruined a song they loved by making it a ringtone?

I had a song on my phone when I first got it... then I realized how stupid it was, took about 4 phone calls to really disassosiate the first 5 seconds of the song with something I loved to something I hated. Now I stick with a regular ring, and no regrets.
I hate songs for tones.

I got into the bad habit of letting the whole ringtone play out because I loved the song and subsequently missing the call.
Oops.

I just changed mine, I had Blue Cheer's version of Summertime Blues on my phone, and my friends couldn't stand it, so I just changed it to Ring Tone 1 (basic phone sound). I actually can say its nice to be somewhere and my phone goes off, and I actually know its mine because it DOESN'T have some fancy song on it now.

I got a new phone right before I had surgery and selected a pretty melodic chime sound. I remember hearing that ring in my anethesia and drug induced hazes and now I hate to hear it. I actually replaced my phone since then and it's gone.
