How do you check an item to see if it is mage rechargeable?

Its reply to the second stanza will include (not verbatim, my memory isn't that good...):

"... the magical strength of this object is unusually strong, and you get the feeling that once its charge is depleted, it may be refilled."

Loresing to a blue crystal for the exact message.

To be clear, if an item does not say this, it is *not* rechargable.

This is the phrase that means mage rechargable...

The magical strength of this item is strong. It could probably handle the imbedding of an entirely new spell, if handled with care.

Sorry it took so long, first one i've found in a while

That one means reimbeddable. Somewhat different.

A gem will come up as this-

As you sing, you feel a faint resonating vibration from the sylvarraend ruby in your hand, and you learn something about it...

From the pitch of the vibration you determine that the purpose of the ruby is as a gem of some kind. As you sing, the ruby seems to resonate with your voice, and you feel it trying to draw power from you. It pulses strongly with the rhythm of your words.

If it is an item, such as a ring, it will say:

You sense a faint aura of magic around the garnet ring. You also feel a faint drawing sensation from it, as though when its charge is depleted, it may be refilled. From the pitch of the vibration you determine that the purpose of the ring is to cast a spell or perform some magical purpose.

As you sing, you feel a faint resonating vibration from the firestone in your hand, and you learn something about it...

Another way it shows it. See the way my script is set up, it will try and purify the gem. If it can't, it will then sing purpose to it. (this is because I have found gems with spells in them, or embeddible gems many times)

If it comes up with:

From the pitch of the vibration you determine that the purpose of the feystone is as a gem of some kind. As you sing, the feystone seems to resonate with your voice, and you feel it trying to draw power from you.

Then it is only an orb gem.

If it pulses, then it is a rechargeable.

Isn't that just adding steps to reach the same conclusion via the same method? Sing purpose, or purify and then sing purpose!!

No?

Maybe I don't understand what you are saying.
